Yet Another Use for Vinegar

White vinegar can be used to replace fabric softener and works quite well. It’s environmentally friendly because it doesn’t contain chemicals and you can buy it in bulk to save on packaging. Use 1/2 cup vinegar in the wash cycle but be sure not to use bleach at the same time as mixing the two may create toxic fumes. Don’t worry, your clothing will not come out smelling like vinegar.
