We don’t do a lot of organics because of the price, but I do buy organic when on special.

I think the harsh reality of what all these chemicals are doing to us, especially to our kids will come out someday in the future. Our girls are getting bigger and starting puberty earlier (which in turn increases cancer risks). Despite the expense, we only buy organic milk and meats. The hormones in non-organic versions scare me. I strongly believe the expense is well worth it.

We belong to an organic CSA all summer, and in the winter buy about 80% organic. True that in the old days we didn’t eat organic…but they didn’t use the horrible amounts and types of pesticides, fertilizers, and GMOS they do now. Also, cancer rates and other diseases like autism are rising hugely…do we know that wasn’t impacted by the chemicals we ingested as kids? It’s pretty blind to ignore those possibilities!

Our organic CSA can be joined using food stamps!

it’s hard to find organic products here and the ones that are available are three times higher than the regular counterpart so don’t buy organic yet. We are putting in our own garden next year which will be organic so that’ll help. trinitygsd at yahoo dot com
