Dapple makes cleaning products that are specially formulated to be environmentally friendly and safe for baby yet strong enough to get the job done. They are made from natural based ingredients and are not tested on animals.
Dapple sent me a travel sized dish liquid and a travel pack of Toy Cleaner Wipes to try. Both smell nice as they are scented with lavender essential oil.
The dish soap did it’s job- no better or worse than traditional dish soap. As I mentioned before, I enjoyed the lavender fragrance. I also liked the fact that there is no dye or coloring agent of any kind in Dapple Dish Liquid.
The Toy Cleaner Wipes are large and convenient to wipe down toys or other things when you are on the go. These are nice to have to wipe down highchair trays when you are out at restaurants and such. I just use a diaper wipe most of the time. I don’t like carrying a lot of extras in the diaper bag since I have two little ones. The Toy Cleaner Wipes can’t be used for diaper changes or wiping faces. Honestly, I also use diaper wipes for quick clean ups on our toys at home as well (at my house, sometimes convenience wins over being green- bad, I know!)
While I liked Dapple, I’m not convinced that it is any better than the products I already use. Perhaps I’m not well educated on the ingredients of traditional dish soap but this is one area I’m not too concerned with. The soap is rinsed away and if there were any health issues associated with it, I would have heard about them.What I do love about Dapple is that they donate both proceeds and products to a wide range of family-and eco-friendly causes. They are doing their part to make the world a better place for ourselves and our children.
