I received a P-K Summer Activities book for my review. My oldest is only two so he’s not ready for for these books yet. He was very interested in them however, so we adapted our own little lessons. The back of the book had letter flashcards which were perfect for us. My son is very interested in learning his letters so these were a hit. The illustrations and activities make these books more fun than “work”. I think they are a great tool for parents and something the kids will actually enjoy.
The P-K book had lessons in responsibility, gratitude, and manners as well as exercises in confidence building and more in addition to reading, writing, math and language skills. Summer reading lists and motivational calendars are also included.
