New on Juice Box Jungle: CEO of Shutterfly & Father of 3

by holly on October 27, 2009

New on our Juice Box Jungle widget (the one with the green border in the left sidebar) is a video of the CEO of Shutterfly, who is also a father of three, talking about how things change after the first born. I think it’s neat to see the real people behind big companies and Jeff seems like a great person (I love Shutterfly so I could just be saying that but take a look at the video and see for yourself!) One of the points he brings up is how every milestone no matter how small with our first born child we try to memorialize it. With the second, we are busier and we’ve been there before so we tend to miss some of the smaller moments. It doesn’t mean we love that child any less. I can relate to this completely. I try to be a fair mom and do the same things for my daughter as I did for my son but it is much harder to keep up with two! I made giants scrapbooks of all the cute photos of my son. My daughter doesn’t have a single scrapbooked page. Thankfully Shutterfly has come to my rescue though. Since I don’t have the time to drag all of my scrapbooking supplies out (especially since I have a 2 year old and a 10 month old who won’t leave it alone-I like to scrap on the floor) I now do all my photo books digitally. Once my kids are in school I hope to get back to hand scrapbooking but for now, it’s all I can do to stay on top of it this way. For fun, I am going to share one of my favorite photos of my kids plus a Halloween past and present. If you’d like to join in we’d love to see your kiddos too! Leave us a link in the widget at the bottom of this post so we can check them out!

This is my favorite picture of my kids. It’s the day we brought my daughter home from the hospital the day after she was born. Jackson loved her immediately and it’s just so sweet!

And this is my favorite one from Halloween last year (I was still pregnant, so no pic of my daughter).

This one is from a Halloween event we went to last weekend. I am hoping to get some better ones on Halloween!

Gorgeous pics! I love Shutterfly, and we order from them all of the time. Besides great prints and enlargements, we also have great calendars, coasters, and many picture books that are of astoundingly great quality. I'm glad you gave a shout out to the company.
