Weigh Me Wednesday: Yes, I’ve Missed a Few Weeks Edition (and I know it’s Thursday too)

I know…I missed the last two weeks of checking in.  I couldn’t weigh on Wednesday the past few weeks because I’ve had meetings and my husband was gone.  I hope to be back to a Wednesday weighing next week.  As for this week, I lost 2.8 lbs.  No idea how I did that, but I will take it.  :)  The two previous weeks, I lost 1 lb. and over 1 lb. the next week.  I have 5 lbs. left to my first goal!  I am excited about that.  I feel like this has taken forever, but I keep trying to remind myself that my son is only 3 months old and Rome wasn’t built in a day.

What do you do when you get discouraged about losing (or not) weight?  I have wanted to quit so many times lately, but I somehow bring myself back to it.  It doesn’t help that I cheat at least 3 of the 7 days!  How do you resist temptation?
