I was given the opportunity to sample some of Belli’s products and I have to say that they really know how to make a mom feel great. The products are beautifully packaged to make you feel luxurious and pampered. The products are created with you and baby in mind. I had never heard of the term ” Teratology” before but it’s important for pregnant women like myself. It means that the products have been screened to avoid ingredients linked to birth defects.
I’ve been blessed to make in through nearly 3 pregnancies (due with my 3rd in less than 4 weeks!) with no stretch marks. But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t love the Belli Elasticity Belly Oil Stretch Mark Protection. It contains lavender oil which has a soothing and relaxing fragrance and vitamin E which conditions the skin. It feels great on skin that is tight and itchy due to stretching.
Another product from the Belli line that I enjoyed is the Eye Brightening Cream. What mom couldn’t use a product like this? Goodness knows that when things get busy, moms are the ones who suffer from lack of sleep which can cause dark circles under the eyes. The cream which contains Vitamin K, Vitamin PP and marine derived proteins helps lighten the circles and minimize fine lines. It feels silky smooth and wears well under makeup.
Two other great products I had the pleasure of trying were the All Day Moisture Body Lotion and the Anti-Chloasma Facial Sunscreen. Both are much needed during pregnancy. The first helps relieve dry itchy skin which is very common due to hormones and stretching skin. The second helps prevent “pregnancy mask” which is brown splotchy areas that can occur on the face of pregnant women. A sunscreen such as this one helps guard and protect the face from the sun which can help reduce the effects of Chloasma.
