KIND Granola Review & #Giveaway

My kids are big cereal fans.  I do my best to stick with healthier varieties but admit I could be doing a better job.  They’ve always liked granola when I buy it and are happy to eat it as cereal or as a topping on yogurt. Whole foods are a growing trend — a bandwagon I should be jumping on.  More and more people are taking their health seriously and choosing to make conscious decisions about what they put into their bodies.  KIND offers a variety of healthy 100% whole grain blends that are great with milk for breakfast, as toppings for yogurt and more.  Unique whole grains including amaranth, quinoa, oats, millet and buckwheat provide vitamins and nutrients, protein, dietary fiber and minerals essential in maintaing a healthy diet and weight.  KIND Whole Grains are available in 6 varieties:

My kids loved all the flavor options and didn’t have any complaints eating any of them as breakfast cereal.  I tried a few myself and found them to be slightly bland — you can take that with a grain of salt though, coming from a mom who sneaks Fruit Loops when the kids aren’t looking.  That being said, having a small bowl was filling and a good start to my day.  Something I should do more often.

I like that Kind has less sugar.

I’m more concerned about eating healthy, especially the older I get.
