KIND Snacks Valentine Review & #Giveaway

by holly on February 1, 2013

Do you have a love/hate relationship with food? Let me introduce you a new snack you can fall in love with this Valentine’s Day (or any day!).  You’ll love it, and without the guilt too!

A healthier KIND of relationship awaits you…

Here is why you + KIND Nuts & Spices = The Perfect Match

1.       They’re sweet - but not too sweet (who doesn’t like a bad boy now and then?) Even though Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan  are coated in decadent dark chocolate, , they contain only 5g of sugar or less per bar.

2.       There’s nothing artificial about them – these guys are genuine – just ingredients you can see and pronounce and no outrageous label claims hiding dirty secrets like sugar alcohols.

3.       They won’t break your heart – far from it! Each bar is packed with whole almonds, pecans, and peanuts – a natural source of omega-3’s that will actually make your heart stronger and fend off hear t disease. Given that just 3% of Americans have optimal heart health, this is one to consider! (American Heart Association, 2013)

4.       They’ll give you that natural glow – ah, the look of a woman in love – and also one who has taken proper care of her skin. Research shows that the antioxidants found in Dark Chocolate can help fight free radicals keeping your skin bright and clear throughout the winter months ahead.

KIND Nuts & Spices: KIND Nuts & Spices bars are made with spices like cinnamon, ginger and Madagascar vanilla, and fiber and protein-packed whole nuts. Spice, everything nice, and only 5g of sugar or less.

o   Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea SaltDark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt is a sweet and salty blend of almonds, peanuts, and walnuts drizzled in chocolate with a touch of sea salt.

o   Dark Chocolate Cinnamon PecanDark Chocolate Cinnamon Pecan is a combination of pecans, almonds, cashews, and peanuts drizzled in chocolate with a hint of cinnamon.

o   Cashew & Ginger SpiceKIND Cashew & Ginger Spice is a sweet and spicy blend of cashews and ginger.

o   Madagascar Vanilla AlmondMadagascar Vanilla Almond is a fresh and tasty combination of mixed nuts (almonds, peanuts, cashews and walnuts) with delicious Madagascar vanilla.

Kind bars make an awesome snack and a treat at the same time!  I love the Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt bars.  They are the perfect combination of sweet & salty.  The chocolate makes it seem indulgent but you won’t be wasting calories like you would be by eating a candy bar.  It’s an excellent compromise.

Say goodbye to the junk and hello to the hunk!

I learned that the Flower Child era is not dead . This company combines the word And with Holistic and the company’s motto rings a 60′s bell for me.

I learned that KIND was conceived in 2003 by Daniel Lubetzky, a social entrepreneur whom TIME Magazine recognized in 2009 among “25 Responsibility Pioneers” and BusinessWeek named among “America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs.” They use low sugar healthy ingredients

I learned that Daniel Lubetzky not only created these amazing snack bars, but also founded PeaceWorks Foods in 1994. Sounds like he is trying to make the world a better place in all of his endeavors.
