I’m kind of a juice snob. If my family is going to drink something, it better not be empty calories and sugar. We drink a lot of water and the kids drink milk but it’s a rare treat that we drink juice. R.W. KnudsenFamily just released Nature’s Peak juice blends with 100% fruit and vegetable juices. They are available in 3 flavors:
- Berry Veggie Blend
- Orchard Veggie Blend
- Tropical Veggie Blend
Since vegetable intake is something I struggle with, I was intrigued with the nutritional content of these juices which offer 1/2 cup serving of fruits and a 1/2 cup serving of vegetables in each 8 ounce serving of their 50/50 fruit/veggie blends. I wasn’t worried that my kids would be hesitant to try Nature’s Peak Juice Blends due to the color of the juice because I’m no stranger to adding veggies to smoothies and juice and they happen to be a fan of green smoothies with spinach. In fact, I was looking forward to trying these juices in smoothies but they were gone before I had a chance! My kids loved this stuff!
Due to the weather, my juice samples arrived partially frozen. We tried the Tropical Veggie blend first and it was pure slushy goodness! This was my favorite flavor of the 3 and the only one I got my own glass of! I couldn’t taste veggie in this one at all. The Orchard Veggie Blend (the green one) was the only one that tasted slightly veggie and my son wasn’t a fan of it but both of my girls still drank it right up.
Nature’s Peak juice blends do not contain any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. This product is also Non-GMO Project Verified. Made with premium fruits and vegetables, Nature’s Peak juice blends carry on R.W. Knudsen Family’s tradition of high-quality juice beverages. I felt completely comfortable serving this juice to my kids with meals and as a snack and loved that I was squeezing in extra servings of fruit and vegetables while my kids thought they were enjoying a treat.
