When we moved into our house almost 3 years ago there were trees planted into built in planters on our front porch. I thought they were ugly and I never watered them or anything. Finally, my hubby agreed to get rid of them.
But then we were left with these empty holes. I was trying to decide what to do with them when I came across Silk Plants Direct. I figured since I’m not very good at keeping things alive, maybe I could “plant” some silk topiaries in pretty pots to cover the holes. They offered to send me a two pack of tea leaf double ball topiaries. These come in a pot as shown and are 24″ tall. I’m terrible about visualizing things in my head and thought these would look perfect repotted into larger pots to cover the holes. Unfortunately because our double doors are probably 10 feet tall, it really dwarfed these pretty plants making them look super small.
I decided to keep them indoors and I think they look super cute next to our fireplace. These hand-crafted topiaries are maintenance-free. Since they are silk, I don’t have to water them or trim them which is great because I would never remember to do that and a live plant would never survive in my house.
