This review and giveaway is one of those where you will ask yourself, “Why hasn’t somebody thought of this before?” One of my biggest problems with my almost 1 year old is that he loves to take off his socks. Now that the weather is cold, it drives me nuts because his little tootsies just get so cold! Stay with Me socks are newborn and infant
socks that feature a Velcro strap that fastens around the ankle to create a secure but comfortable fit for babies from birth to 14 months of age.
There are a variety of colors and graphics such as pink, green and blue. They come in two sizes- 0-3 months and 3-14 months. Both sizes feature the same Velcro strap which fastens in the front for smaller babies and in the back for older babies to accommodate baby as the grows. The best part to me about Stay with Me socks is that they loop together easily for washing! No need to lose that 2nd sock! I also love that there is a skid-proof bottom, so that when my son starts walking, he won’t fall over from slippery socks!
Stay with Me socks have a suggested retail price of $4.50 and up and are available at Target. Want to win a pair of newborn socks in pink or blue of your own? Find out how below. Also, be sure to check out our other giveaways HERE.

This is an item that I feel does not get enough credit. Both of my babies were born as fall was ending and winter was beginning. It seemed that after they were only a few months old, it was always so dry in our house, that we had to run a cool mist humidifier. Not only did the cool mist humidifier help their stuffy noses, but it also became a white noise machine and drowned out background noises. I have found a few cool mist humidifiers that you should keep in mind for any new parent (or any parent for that fact).
One of my favorite humidifiers is the Crane Cool Mist Humidifier
. You can read about how I reviewed one here. They are about $35 and are so easy to clean that it is remarkable. I will say that the sound is so soft though to where it may not be the best for a white noise machine, but the humidifer works wonderfully and I can not recommend it enough. Don’t forget the filters either!
You can also look into the Vicks 1.0 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier
. I have not personally used this humidifier, but Vicks has always been the answer to a cold, right? ;) If you know anything about this product, please let me know. It is also priced around $35.

Not all blankets are created equal. When it comes safely swaddling your newborn baby it is important to make sure they do not over heat. Since temperature plays a role in the occurrence of SIDS, light weight breathable fabric is recommended for swaddling. 100% cotton muslin is my fabric of choice. It is super soft, very breathable and has just the right amount of stretch to make the perfect swaddle. Solana Baby Wear makes a great one!
Large sized at 45″ x 45″, the Solana Swaddle can accommodate babies large and small. It’s size also makes it great for use as a nursing cover, bug screen, tummy time blanket or changing mat. I love the pretty bindings on the edge that give the blankets a little added touch of style. The swaddles come packaged perfect for gift giving making them an ideal shower gift. Blankets start at $19.95.

No, Sweet Papier doesn’t have edible items. It actually has paper products. They are actually some of the cutest paper products I’ve seen. One of my friends is having a baby later this year and I am helping with the baby shower. (To see all baby shower ideas, check out our Bump Day Deals.) I am currently exploring my options for shower invites. I typically like to make my own invites when I throw a function, but a lot of times I just get frustrated with not having the proper software to design them and then with the printing options. I often wonder if I can just purchase the invites with less headache than making my own.
Sweet Papier has many options that I think are just adorable. They have many different types of invitations. They also offer many products such as notecards, address labels, labels for boxes and cookie envelopes. Their designs are adorable and affordable even with invitations around $18 for 12. You can even change the colors on the invite as well as the wording. Look into them if you are needing these items like I am.

I love being able to have shirts, tees and onesies that have wording on them. I think they are adorable on little babies especially because they can’t talk, so I like to fill their mouths with my words haha. What an awesome baby shower gift!
Info. about Little Showoffs in their own words:
Jacqueline Fair has taken her product of baby bragging showoff tees and branched out her own line of Little Showoffs. Jacqueline is a former college counselor and has now assumed the most challenging job, full time mommy of two amazing and active young boys and is now running her own business. She has taken her passion of simple and yet expressive baby, toddler, and adult tees and created Little Showoffs.
Little Showoffs is designed as a form of fun expressions for baby. It is also created to make baby shower gifts unique, fun,and of course cute and adorable. There is no better way to celebrate a baby than to have these tees proudly express “new accomplishments”, “loves”, “place of residence” and more. It also brings the family together to showoff what role baby has now created for each member.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality available tees for babies, toddlers, and adults. Little Showoffs tees are made from 100% ring spun cotton which is noticeably softer and higher in quality than the carded cotton used by others. We thrive on our variety of sizes and our wide variety of vibrant colors to choose from because we are all different and should be able to showoff in colorful ways!
I received a tee for my son that says, “It’s all about me.” Unfortunately, he is not old enough to wear it yet, but I am in love with it. These tees are made of 100% ring-spun cotton, which is softer than regular carded cotton and I love that something so soft will be against his skin.
Little Showoffs onesies and child tees start around $15. They also have a lot of other products such as maternity tees, baby caps and doggie tees to name a few.
Want to win a Little Showoffs product of your own? Find out how below. This giveaway is open to US and Canada only. Also, be sure to check out our other giveaways HERE.

This week’s Bump Day Deal is one of the cutest ideas. Skip the flowers or onesies in a bag and give the mother-to-be a bouquet of onesies. The Baby Bunch is originally known for onesie bouquets which come in many sizes and colors. They have buckets, or bunches, 100% cotton material, or organic…boy or girl and the bunch/bucket for the baby who is keeping secret until birth. The clothes are made to fit infants 0-6 months old, or up to a 16 pound baby. They are priced $60-$100. They have a section for gifts under $35 here.
I was sent a Lollipop to review. They are brightly striped bodysuits and come wrapped individually in cellophane. I’d never guess it was a bodysuit with how cute it was wrapped! These would make great centerpieces at a shower or for decoration on the cake table. They retail for $9.95.
The Baby Bunch also offers Organic and Baby Pajama Cupcakes, Baby Nest, Kitchen and Garden Bunches. How cute! The Pajama Cupcakes look like cupcakes (obviously) and are a top and bottom set of pajamas. They are sooo cute! The Nest is for the mother and child while the Kitchen and Garden Bunches is a great gift for moms, hostesses, green thumbs and chefs containing an apron, dish cloths, towels, etc…
On any order you place from The Baby Bunch enter code FRESHIPPING and receive free shipping on orders over $50.
We are giving away a Lollipop to one lucky reader. Find out how to enter below. Also, be sure to check out our other giveaways HERE.
One of the greatest companies for gift giving at baby showers or new moms is called Child to Cherish. There are some really great gifts there such as Handprint Kits, Banks, Plush Animals an
d so much more! What is so great about these products is that they are made to last and cherish memories.
Child to Cherish was founded in 1987. The Handprint Kit was one of the first creations and is such a popular item and so great to look back at such great memories. Child to Cherish creates products that really do last a lifetime.
I was able to review the Handprint Kits, Banks and Buttermilk Farm Crayon Apron in Pink. My favorite is the apron. First, my daughter loves that she can wear an apron and obviously she is super excited that she has her 24 crayons readily accessible. I also
love the other products, but we love to save money here at Mommies with Cents, so the blue bank works so great for my son! We have to start early here!
Visit Child to Cherish and use code mwc 10 to receive a 10% discount on any order from http://www.childtocherish.com/. They really have some great products with great prices for any new mom or baby shower gift.

A baby book makes a great baby shower gift. Mom’s (and Dad’s) can start filling in part of the book such as baby’s family tree, sections about Mom and Dad and inserting photos of Mom while pregnant, pictures of the nursery etc. This will help mommies while they wait in anticipation of their new arrival. When the big day arrives, they will have their book ready for those adorable tiny foot prints to be stamped directly into the book. Here are a few we have found around our $25 target price:

I wrote a review for a Kuster HERE and it made me think that there are probably plenty of changing pads and covers that I had no idea existed. I figured they were all the same, but by the shapes and comfort, I guess I am wrong. Here are a few I found:
Rumble Tuff Changing Pad
for around $28 or $36 for the pad and cover.
LA Baby 4 Sided Changing Pad 30
for $27. This one is more rounded. I thought that was neat.
Basic Comfort Contoured Changing Pad
for $26.
Ultimately, it seems like they are all roughly the same amount, but I have made this a Bump Day Deal because it is something that every parent needs, so what an excellent gift. View more Bump Day Deals here.

Yes, having a baby requires LOTS of baby stuff, but why not consider items for when the children are older? I posted a review HERE over a booster seat. Bump Day Deals is a feature for gifts around $25-$35 though, so I am going to list a few great booster seats that are well within our range.
The BabySmart Cooshee Booster Seat
(pictured left) is a favorite by many. The seat is simple and lets the child feel they are not really in a booster seat. They also make a highback model. It retails for around $32.
Another great seat is anything made by Fisher Price. The Fisher-Price Healthy Care Booster Seat
is an excellent example. It receives 5 stars on Amazon out of over 650 reviews. That is great!!! It comes with 2 extra trays which makes this really nice. It is priced at $29.
Don’t forget about a booster seat on the go. The First Years On-The-Go Booster Seat
is a great addition for any parent. Have you ever noticed how nasty the booster seats are at restaurants? Yuck! Avoid this and try out a travel booster. This one (pictured left) runs $25.
