Imagine if this was your child. Kyle Crawford is a four year old little boy who is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant. If you want to know more about him you can visit http://kyleneedsyou.org but right now I want to give you the pertinent information:
Kyle is a half-Chinese, half-Caucasian 4-year-old with aplastic anemia – a condition where the body does not produce enough new blood cells and is fatal within six months without a bone marrow transplant. Of the 9 million registered bone marrow donors, a match hasn’t been found for Kyle yet. We are searching for part-Asian, part-Caucasian donors to increase the likelihood of a match. Getting tested to be a bone marrow donor is as simple as swabbing your cheek.
A match for Kyle is out there somewhere. If you think you might be a potential match or know someone who might be, please help. You can spread the word via the Twitter and Facebook buttons on this post or share however you’d like. Let’s find Kyle a donor.
You can “Like” and follow Kyle’s cause through Facebook and Twitter. I’ll be praying to see a message come through that a match has been found.
This Christmas the team’s coming together for Diomi and her son Nallee, who are going into the cold Milwaukee winter with very little food, clothes, and other necessities. Diomi has been through so much, including the loss of her father, the loss of her job, and clinical depression. But even through the pain you can see all the love she has for Nallee, who has one of the most beautiful personalities you’ll find. :)
We want to make this month special for them! We’re working with their pastor to help get things they really need, including school uniforms for Nallee, interview clothes for Diomi as she looks for a job, and food to help them through the winter months.
If you can find it in your hearts to give one extra gift this year, whether it be money or a helpful item they can use, please send it in – our goal is to reach $3,000 worth of necessities.
Want to join us in helping Diomi and Nallee? Here are 3 ways:
Give $1.00 - This money will be put towards basic necessities and care. Maybe even a Christmas present or two (They’re currently spending it alone, w/out anything at all).
Give a gift card - Gift cards are extremely helpful, especially to places that are national.
Donate personal products -These two need anything you can thing of in the personal product department: bathroom/kitchen/bedroom stuff, etc.
Love Drop is at it again! They just came back from the Indianapolis area where they dropped $2,500 worth of baby gifts on newborn triplets (they’re so cute!!), and THIS month they’re trying to round up the love for another mother who needs our help — this time fighting against cancer for the 3rd time in 10 years.
Any of us in the same situation would probably use any extra money toward medical bills, so that’s why this month we want to instead focus on giving Marci and family the gift of quality time together. Let’s send them somewhere amazing and help them form memories that will last forever! We’re looking for creative ideas this month… financial gifts too, but also anything that will help them escape together for a while.
Want to help Marci and her family from Fort Collins, Colorado out? Here are 3 ways:
Give $1.00 - This money will help us give her some great quality time!
Give a gift card - Gift cards are extremely helpful, especially to places that are national.
Donate TRAVEL stuff - Airline miles, timeshare options, destination packages, etc. – whatever you have access to!

Your can complete an online sweepstakes entry form at www.TalesForThePetLoversHeart.com for the chance to win a year’s worth of groceries from your local Kroger affiliate, a year’s supply of Purina pet food, plus a $50,000 donation will be made in the winner’s honor to a participating animal welfare organization.
Did you know that 6 is the average distance that many women and children in developing countries must walk in order to obtain drinking water for their families. Often the water is heavily contaminated but no other option exists for over 800 million people who do not have access to safe drinking water. Every day more than 4,000 children die from diseases caused by drinking unsafe water – more than die from HIV/AIDS and malaria combined.
Last year, Pantene pledged to donate one year’s clean water to four women and their families for every employee that participated in a 6K walk, resulting in clean water for 1,300 women and their families. This year, they want to increase that number and have added Olay and Venus to the team.
More than 3,000 P&G employees in over 10 cities around the globe (the cities include Cincinnati, Boston, NYC, Iowa City, Panama, Geneva, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Bangkok, Manila and Singapore)will participate in the Global Carry Each Other 6K Walk for Water in an effort to raise awareness of the global water crisis and provide clean drinking water to save the lives of women and their families. For each employee that participates, the brands will donate one year’s worth of clean drinking water to a woman and her family in the developing world through the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program(CSDW).
Now you can feel good about supporting these brands by purchasing their products. It’s always nice to know that companies do their part to give back.
Hey guys! The Love Drop team is at it again! They just came back from the Boston area where they dropped $5,000 worth of appliances and gifts to a woman who recently got hit by a car and is recovering in a wheelchair, and THIS month they’re trying to round up the love for precious newborn triplets!
We want to help Jeff and Becca (the parents) prepare to bring them home from the hospital, as all three were born very underweight and are currently in the Neonatal ICU (they’re doing great though! And will be coming home soon). With four children already, adding a surprise batch of triplets is going to put considerable financial strain on the family, and that’s where we come in!
Let’s help give them everything they need to welcome the triplets home, including diapers, food, furniture, gift cards – any cool baby stuff you can think of. We’re shooting for at least $3,000 in cash, plus gifts.
Want to help? Here are three ways you can participate:
Give $1.00 – This money will help go to their family, and every dollar counts!
Give a gift card – Gift cards are extremely helpful. Places like Target, Wal-mart, restaurants, etc would be incredible. out.
Donate baby stuff! – Specifically diapers, formula and clothes. Gift cards here are awesome too. (Or maybe you have contacts in the baby world?)
You can reach the Love Drop team here anytime with questions: team (at) love drop (dot) us., or by checking them out at LoveDrop.us. Thanks everyone! We’ll let you know how it goes!

You may have heard of some groups that collect expired coupons, repackage them and send them out. Coupons to Troops organizes a more personal exchange that is beneficial to both the sender and the recipient. While military families overseas are able to use coupons up to 6 months past the expiration date, the sooner they get them, the more time they’ll have to use them. Cutting out the middle man shaves a lot of time off of the transaction. Coupons to Troops will match you with a family that you’ll have one-on-one contact with so you’ll feel more of a connection.
To request a family, send an email to admin@couponstotroops.com. There is no additional cost to send your coupons overseas. It will cost the same as it would if you were mailing them across town.
