We haven’t had many opportunities for sunscreen yet this year here in the Seattle area but we did have ONE day of sunshine so I could try out the new Coppertone Wet ‘n Clear Sunscreen. It will be great for the beach because it’s designed specifically for application on wet skin. It sprays on easily and leaves a clear layer of sun protection that lasts up to 80 water resistant minutes. The spray is great for larger areas like the legs and back but you’ll still need to get your hands dirty to apply it to the face. The thing I like the best about Wet ‘n Clear is that the cap locks so that it won’t spray when you don’t want it too. I can toss it into my purse without worrying of leaks. It’s available in SPF 30, 45+, and Kids SPF 45+ in 6 oz bottles. It retails for $9.99.
Coppertone is looking for the next Little Miss Coppertone. The photo submission deadline has past but starting July 13th you’ll be able to vote on the little cuties by visiting the Coppertone Facebook page. The winner will be featured in a 2013 Coppertone print ad and win an ultimate family vacation.Celebrity mom Alison Sweeney was a guest judge to select the top 10 finalists who personify the playful, optimistic spirit of Coppertone’s iconic character.
