Disney Cinderella Costume Review

My just-turned-3-year-old daughter LOVES Cinderella.  When I ask her who her favorite princess is she replies “Cida-lell-a”.  She loves wearing dresses and dressing up in costume so when I saw this Cinderella dress with a light up skirt, I knew she had to have it!  It’s just as adorable in the picture as it is in person.

We ordered the size 3T/4T which is right around the size my daughter wears in normal clothing.  She’s a shorty though so the costume goes almost all the way to the floor.  I like that she has some growing room in it though so she can wear it for awhile.  The back has a Velcro closure that is somewhat adjustable so it allows for a little flexibility in sizing.

The dress is loaded with glitter which makes it look really sparkly and pretty but it does get everywhere.  There is a battery pack inside a pouch sewn into the inside of the skirt.  It takes a AAA battery and has an on-off switch.  Not only does the light up skirt look super cute, it’s also a safety feature because it makes the child more visible in the dark for trick-or-treating!

The quality of this dress is much better than the more inexpensive ones I’ve seen in stores.  It’s officially licensed by Disney so you can be sure that the Cinderella look is authentic.  The dress does not come with any accessories.  I don’t think it really needs any.  Any type of little girls shoes work well (think Mary Janes) however my little “Cinda-lella” thinks she needs some “glubs” to complete the outfit.  Accessories are available on the Parties.com website including a tiara and a trick-or-treat bucket.

Parties.com has a HUGE selection of Disney costumes including Cinderella costumes in this style and others.  This particular one sells for $51.99.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
