One of the best movies we saw this summer was Disney’s The Jungle Book, a live-action movie with amazingly stunning visual effects. Based on the original 1967 animated classic of the same name, this new version literally brings your favorite characters to life. The film earned more than $949 million at the global box office but if you didn’t get a chance to see it in theater, you can now own it on DVD or Blu-Ray as well as Digital HD.
Neel Sethi is perfectly cast as Mowgli, a young boy who lives in the jungle and has been raised by a family of wolves. Shere Kahn, a tiger who “bears the scars of Man” sees the man-cub as a threat and promises to eliminate him. He’s the character you love to hate while other characters like Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther and Akela the wolf pack leader will draw an emotional connection as you watch the relationships they each have with Mowgli. The CG animation is so good it’s almost believable! This is a movie you won’t want to miss! Be sure to add it to your collection!

I’m glad all of the film companies are now making blu-ray movie options. The picture quality is so much better than on dvd.
