My 10 year old son loves putting things together and learning to understand how things work. Tenergy just released a line of STEM education toys that foster this type of curiosity in subjects like Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (AKA STEM). We had the opportunity to try out the Dynamo Lantern and it was a hit!
The Dynamo Lantern gives kids a peek at how electricity works. They get to put the toy together themselves but the cool part for us parents is that there are no screws or tools involved. They can truly accomplish the task on their own following the easy to understand directions. It only took Jackson a few minutes to put together the lantern.
My guy is a man of few words but he wanted to demonstrate how the toy works by recording this short video. You just turn the crank at the LED bulb lights up! He thought the whole experience was pretty cool and asked if they made any more toys. The good news is, they do! We will also be testing out a robot in the future so keep your eye out for that!
You can purchase the lantern kit on Amazon here.
We are also giving away lanterns to 10 Mommies with Cents followers! All you have to do is sign up for the Power Club group! The giveaway will be open for one week and then 10 winners will be selected!
Good luck!
A complimentary product/service was provided for this review, however, all opinions expressed are my own. I was not compensated in any other way. See Mommies With Cents disclosure policy for more details.
