I had the chance to try a few products from Fuzzi Bunz. I tried the perfect size diaper, organic double-sided wipes, nursing pads and mess-free diaper bag. I can not express how great all of these items are.
Perfect Size Diaper- It is a pocket diaper which means that there is a pocket which holds an absorbent liner. There are snaps that hold the diaper together. It is amazing how far the diapers have come since the safety pin days. Surprisingly, I am very pleased with the Perfect Size Diaper from Fuzzi Bunz. The wetness stays with the liner, but there is a waterproof outside. I have used mine over and over and are easy to wash. It stays nice and looks new after a ton of washes. My son doesn’t have rashes from them and they are super soft.
Fuzzi Bunz Perfect Size Diaper comes in a variety of colors, sized XS-XL and retails for $17.95. What a great cost considering that’s not even two packs of disposable diapers that only last for maybe 2 weeks. They are also great for the environment.
Organic Double-Sided Wipes- These are a 9 in x 9 in wipe made with 100% organically grown cotton on one side and fleece on the other. You can wipe the mess on one side and dry the baby with the other. These worked fine, but I am more of a person who likes a wet wipe even if it’s a wipe with water.
In and Out Mess Free Diaper Bag- This is definitely something that is needed if using cloth diapers. I hung mine on the door and filled the diapers from the top. The bottom has a zipper so that it is easy to put the diapers in the washing machine. Then, wash the diapers and the diaper bag together. When kids are out of diapers, use the bag for other clothes. The only downside for me is that I have a front-loading washer, so it’s not as easy to just “throw” the diapers out of the bag. It’s still a very great useful product!
Nursing Pads- This has been one of my favorite products to review. They are made of flannel and fleece. At first I wondered how well they were going to work, but they work really great! I haven’t had any leaks yet! I was spending a lot of money on disposable breast pads and just creating unnecessary waste. The pads are a tad bulky for a tight shirt, but it could be my paranoia as I’m sure nobody noticed. They can also move if you’re not careful because there is obviously no stickiness to keep them in place. All-in-all, what a great product!!
Fuzzi Bunz is such a great resource and so helpful with our environment. Cloth diapering has never been so easy and be sure to try the nursing pads even if cloth diapering isn’t something you feel you can do.Powered by Sidelines
