New Year’s Resolution Helpers: Lean Cuisine & Skinny Cow

I tend to not make New Year’s Resolutions but my husband usually resolves to lose weight which in turn inspires us to eat healthier as a family.  We also make an effort to get moving by playing outside even if it’s for short amounts of time because it’s freezing!  To help us stay on track with better habits we make a grocery list together that not only includes healthy choices (more salads!) but also healthier treats because we realize that depriving ourselves only sets us up to fail.
LeanCuisine is a life saver for fast and easy meals both at home and on-the-go. They offer a wide variety of products that are satisfying and under 350 calories per serving!  One of their newest products is Salad Additions.  These kits contain everything you need to make a meal out of salad — just add your greens!  Grilled chicken, veggies, a dressing and crunchy toppings make a delicious salad and a quick and easy meal.  They are available in four varieties.
One of my favorite LeanCuisine products is the Garlic Chicken Spring Rolls — they are so good!  They don’t even seem like “diet” food and are great to share as an appetizer.  The meals such as the Sesame Chicken are surprisingly generously proportioned, especially as a lunch satisfy our craving for Chinese food!
Skinny Cow offers excellent options for desserts. Indulge in a sweet snack by trying Skinny Cow’s Heavenly Crisp Candy Bars, Low Fat Fudge Bars, and Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches. Their new line of chocolate treats weigh in at 110 to 120 calories each!  They come in the perfect portion sizes so you can just grab one and enjoy without having to worry about weighing or measuring.
Visit Walmart for more information about these products and to print your coupon for $1.00 off the NEW LeanCuisine Salad Additions Southwest Style Chicken.
How do you stay on track with your New Year’s Resolutions?
