Quality time with your kids can take on any form. Building something together can help build self esteem and teach children teamwork as well as independence. Red Toolbox produces a variety of tools and project kits designed for kids and parents to work on together. They’ve created a level system that allows kids to advance through different skill levels from beginner to intermediate and on to advanced. Level one starts with building skills such as gluing, hammering, filing and assembly while level three builds on these skills and expands to advanced sawing and more. Products in the Red Toolbox line include:
- Signature Workbench– an adjustable height multi-purpose space that includes a vise. Folds for easy storage
- 10 Piece Tool Set– includes all the basics needed for building and constructing
- Cordless Drill– includes a work light and works for 3-5 hours before needing to be recharged
- Picture Pack Woodworking Kit– everything you need to build a four-sided picture holder
- Hanging Birdhouse Woodworking Kit– everything you need to build a birdhouse
- Mini-Golf Kits- build your own mini-golf course with these kits. Each kit includes a golf ball
Red Toolbox provides a great opportunity to spend quality time with your child while helping them to develop useful skill and a sense of belonging at the same time. Building kits retail from $10-$30 each. More information can be found by visiting www.red-toolbox.com. Red Toolbox products are available in Lowe’s stores nationwide and on Lowes.com
I absolutely LOVE the idea of the mini golf kit. When I was a kid, my cousin and I actually tried to build or own mini golf course and it was so much fun. With these kits though, it would have been so much more “professional” we probably could have tried to charge admission! I can’t wait until my son is old enough to do projects like these. I envision him spending time with both of his grandfathers building all sorts of things. These kits are very reasonably priced too!

I hope I’ve been using your contest entry form correctly… I’ve been filling it out for each daily tweet and putting the URL in the “untitled question” field.

Your daily tweet URL should go in the “extra entries” field but don’t worry- we’ll still count your extra entries thus far 🙂 The untitled question field is a mistake on my part.
