The differences that I noticed between Pampers and Huggies was very minimal.
2. Although I haven’t had any leaks with the Huggies diapers, I have been able to tell that there is definitely a hint of urine odor even if my child barely goes. I feel like I have to constantly change the diaper even though I am not 100% sure it needs changed. I could use 4-5 Pampers in one day for her and I feel like I use more than 6 with the Huggies.
3. I’m sure she misses the Elmo design on the Pampers diapers, but I am getting her accustomed to Winnie the Pooh and friends on the Huggies diapers. 😉
4. I am in love with how the Huggies diapers fit. I was ready to move my daughter up to size 5 diapers in Pampers. I feel that Huggies has a TON of more room in them and there is no reason to move her to size 5 in those. Their flex tabs are GREAT and give her a ton of room to move and makes it easier for me to put the diaper on.
5. I do miss being able to use my Pampers points, but that was more for me to just get a free (well, pay shipping and handling) gift for my daughter, so it is definitely not the end of the world.
All-in-all, I don’t think that there is a big enough difference between the Huggies and Pampers diapers. It is such a small difference that it’s been nice to be able to save the money with whichever one is on sale. I haven’t been brave enough to try store brands yet. If I do, I will definitely update my review and let you all know about it.
