Zipzicles Review & #Giveaway

My family loves smoothies.  Since I don’t follow any recipes I often end up with a bigger batch than we can finish. I’ve found a super cool way to save the leftovers for another day.  Zipzicles are narrow tube shaped bags with a zip lock seal at the top.  You can fill them with just about anything liquid or soft from juice to yogurt or blended or pureed foods.

Zipzicles makes it easy to make healthy popsicles at home without artificial ingredients or preservatives.  They’re especially great for those with allergies or special food requirements.  They’re really easy to use too.  We opened the tops, stood them up in a glass and used a [amazon_link id=”B0036DD9OW” target=”_blank” ]pancake pen[/amazon_link] to fill them with.  You can also use a funnel or baster.  Then just pop them in the freezer until frozen!  They even have a space on the outside to write the flavor and date so you won’t forget.

We made orange-banana and orange-banana-spinach using fresh bananas, orange juice, vanilla yogurt and spinach.  I also added some [amazon_link id=”B0017IB6H0″ target=”_blank” ]SalbaSmart[/amazon_link] chia seed.  I plan on sending these as a snack for my son at Kindergarten.  They should thaw enough to be slushy and easy to eat by snack time.  What a healthy treat!

The Zipzicles website is an excellent resource for delicious recipes including including Rootbeer Creamzicle, Strawberry Lemonade, Tangy Blueberry and even Pumpkin Pie! Or get creative and come up with some of your own!  The options are limitless!

Zipzicles zip closed to save for later if you don’t finish them in one sitting.  They are BPA free and recyclable too! Say goodbye to store bought and make your own special treats with Zipzicles.  You can find out more and purchase them ($2.99 for 12) at
