My son turned 12 this year. When my kids were younger they’d have lots of little presents to open but now that they are getting older, they want more expensive things. I can be a little anticlimactic to open just one gift so I still try to find fun little gifts to go with the “main event” even if it is a lot harder to come up with ideas. MasterPieces is one of my go-tos for my son because he LOVES sports. This year I found a fun game and a puzzle that he really liked.
MLB Fanzy is a fun, fast paced dice game for 2-4 players ages 6 and up. Each person rolls 6 nice at the same time in a race to match the challenge cards. It’s super easy to learn and just about anyone can play it! The dice feature the logos of Major League Baseball teams which of course really appeals to my son.
Jackson has always loved puzzles so I try to get him a new one to work each year for his birthday and Christmas. We have some other sports stadium puzzles so it was only natural that we added the Seattle Mariners Stadium as well. It’s called T-Mobile Park now rather than Safeco Field but it still looks the same! This 1000 piece puzzle has a completed size of 13″ x 39″ — over 3 feet wide! We may have to puzzle glue this one and put it up on the wall in his room.
If you have any sports fans in your family, I highly recommend checking out MasterPiecesInc.com for some unique sports puzzles, games and more. Don’t forget — graduations and Father’s Day are right around the corner!
