I’m sure we aren’t alone in feeling like these past few months have been a challenge. We’ve been cooped up, trying to adjust to distance learning and to be honest, we are getting more than a little stir crazy! The weather still isn’t great here in Washington but when we get some sun breaks, we definitely take advantage of them! We only have one week left until summer vacation and we are ready for some fun!
Razor is celebrating their anniversary this month. They’ve been helping kids get fresh air and stay active for 20 years! Whether you’re looking for new ways to enjoy the outdoors and getting creative with old activities, Razor has a challenge for you! They thought it would be really fun to see what kinds of crazy obstacle courses kids could create. They sent us a scooter and we took on the challenge!
Razor makes scooters for kids of all ages. We got the A5 DLX Scooter for ages 8+. My daughter is 10, but small for age. This scooter should last her awhile because the handle bars are easily adjustable to different heights. It was easy to use right out of the box. It took a quick minute of assembly and she was ready to ride!
I gave Parker some simple instructions “Create an obstacle course to do with your scooter”. I didn’t give her any details. She came up with the course on her own. I love that she got creative with it. We didn’t have anything to make jumps with and she couldn’t find our cones so she improvised. She spent more time outside with this challenge than she would have if I just told her to go ride her scooter. Plus, she got to get creative!
Razor knows that scooters and ride-ons play an important part in kids activities and play. They want to see what kinds of unique obstacle courses Mommies with Cents readers can put together for their scooters, ride-ons, bikes, etc.! Are YOU up for the challenge? Post a photo or video to your social media and tag Mommies with Cents for your chance to win a scooter!
