It’s week 2 of Weigh Me Wednesday and I am so excited to write this post. It is something I have been passionate about the past few weeks, so I love to be able to share it with you.
As I told you last week, I am trying to lose the baby weight while doing Weight Watchers. (Actually, I’ve already lost the baby weight from both kids, but I started 10 lbs. overweight when I got pregnant with my first.) I normally weigh on Wednesdays, but I have a Dr. appt. in the morning for a cyst on my hand, so I will have to weigh on Thursday. I HATE not being able to report if I lost any weight. I can only guess because my scale registers differently than the one at Weight Watchers. So, I am going to guess that I have actually gained 1/2 lb. Eek!
It was a tough week for me. My parents came to visit this weekend and we all LOVE to eat. I absolutely love food (hence the lbs. I still have to go for my goal.) So, I know I didn’t not do very well while they were here. I also workout with a trainer in body bootcamp every MWF at 5:45 am. It was storming Friday morning, so I stayed in bed because I knew with the lightening, we would not have bootcamp since it is outside. I thought I had 1 more week of this session. I woke up at 5:10 on Monday and arrived around 5:40. Nobody showed. They have a week break before the next session. So, I managed to take myself home and run the circle in my neighborhood which equals a mile twice around. This is nowhere near what I always did in bootcamp, but it is hard to stay motivated on your own.
On Tuesday, I made my husband go with me at 6 am. He was not too excited and it was still hard for me to get motivated. One of us stayed outside our house since the kids were still asleep while the other one ran a lap. My legs are sore from not having bootcamp in a week, so I took today off. I will pick back up tomorrow. I am debating about whether or not to join the next body bootcamp class. It is so expensive, but it is so beneficial. I feel if I could have one more class, I can definitely reach my goal in the next month. Stay tuned!
So, how did you do? Did you have any great stories to share, any setbacks, any great recipes to share, or just want to do a shoutout? Leave a comment and tell me your progress! I can’t wait to follow you all.
