Kool Aid Cleans Your Dishwasher

by holly on August 30, 2008

If you were part of the All You Magazine coupon craze you probably have more Kool Aid than you know what to do with. Hopefully you have some Lemonade flavored packets. Rumor around the internet has it that Lemonade Kool-aid will clean lime deposits and iron stains out of your dishwasher. Just pour a packet into the detergent cup and run the dishwasher while empty. The citric acid should take care of the mess! Who knew?

That is just so funny! Ever since the August All You, I’ve heard of about a thousand things to do with Kool Aid. Too bad I don’t have any lemonade…I have pink lemonade though! Think that’ll work?

I knew you could do this with Tang, but I hadn’t heard of using Kool Aid.

well i never had knowed that but i did know if you put lemon juice and salt to getter you can use it to clean your potty of lime and junk and well bakeing soda and lemon or even lime works too for all kinds of things when you need to clen up some thing its just like when you mix bakeing soda with vinger it works that same way . so well just think if you where to make up some kool aid with out any suger and then use it with the bakeing soda do you think it may work the same way???

I’m leaving a comment about the coupon giveaway. Count me in! My husband’s work has been extra slow this year so a bag of coupons would help tremendously!
