Thanks for the giveaway! For three years, I was the BOXTOPS lady at my kids’ school. I cut them, counted them and sent them in twice a year. Since I have a little one at home, it’s difficult to volunteer during school hours, but there are often things like this you can do from home to help the schools!
I don’t have a child in school just yet but since I have been couponing I have cut all of the boxtops off any products that I use. It amazes me how many there are!! I give these to my mom who works at schools. themoosehouse at gmail dot com
I sign up all my store “loyalty” cards and use Upromise to donate to my child’s school.

I use the cereal box tops for my friends school. My daughter is too young but she will go there soon. We do flash cards and my toddler loves them her knowledge of animals is amazing!
Awesome giveaway! With really little ones we are investing monetarily each month for their education.
We save box tops and use learning aids like Leap Frog.
My kids are not in school yet, but i always cut the box tops and give them to the neighbor kids that are in the same district. Thanks

My daughter is only one, but I have been singing her the alphabet song since she was in utero. She can sing it really well now for a 14 month old!
[email protected]
I don’t have a little on in school yet (he’s just 19 months) but I plan on volunteering when he is old enough 🙂 I can’t wait! arena.thompson [at] hotmail.com
Well, my kids are OUT of school now – and almost out of college! But I STILL save boxtops and donate them to one of the primary school teachers who goes to my church and sings in choir with me. Anna is like a kid herself and gets so excited when I bring her an envelope full of boxtops – she hopes her class wins the contest of collecting the most boxtops. I don’t know what she will get with them, I just know that she will get something…
I like to contribute to my child’s education by attending school board meetings, volunteering to help out when needed, and giving teachers supplies for their classrooms- since they get so little money to buy stuff and spend so much of their own money. I donate my box tops and my campbells soup labels and coke tabs so they can get money.
We’ve been using Upromise to build up extra college cash. Little by little.
Volunteering and boxtops mostly. Usually I forget about he box tops though. =(

Little one is still very little so for now I just read to him. I’m an avid reader so I’m hoping to get him to like books early!
I contribute to my children’s education by setting aside an hour each day for us ALL to read. I feel that by me taking the time to read too, it sets a good example for them. My kids are now in 8th and 9th grade, so we don’t have classroom volunteers anymore, but in elementary school, I also volunteered in the classroom and for whatever else the school called and asked for help with. -One year it was helping to register incoming K kids.
One way I contribute to my child’s education: I homeschool him! Doesn’t get much more involved than that, does it?
I feel like I contribute to my child’s education by participating in as much school stuff as possible. I love to help her with her homework every day, volunteer in class, and communicate with the teacher about how my daughter is doing, and how I can help her to do better.
Being an active part of my child’s education is the best part of parenting. I volunteer at his school atleast once a week but normally more. Even though I have two other little ones at home..I still manage to volunteer as much as I can, and I will continue to do it when they are of school age as well. I will be siging up for box tops. I just recently heard about it and I think it’s great 🙂 If I win this $50 GC I will be donating some books to my child’s classroom. So they will benefit twice from this one give away 🙂
Thanks for a great giveaway. I don’t have a child of my own, but I like to contribute to my nephew’s education by buying him books. His favorite so far is a book of Swahili words after I came back from Africa. He loves it! Thanks!
This is my first year NOT volunteering as the “Box Tops Lady” at our school. (I miss it only a teensy bit.) I volunteer as much as I can at my kids’ school. My favorite volunteer gig there is working in the school library. I also help out the teachers with photocopying or whatever else they need. Every little bit helps!
My son goes to daycare at the school where I teach. We contribute things to the daycare room — toys, paper towels, etc. — just as I appreciate when parents make such donations to my classroom.
We joined Upromise and have been contributing to a 529 since our son was a twinkle in his father’s eye.
Every month we send in our box tops, we contribute to Upromise through our purchases, and we support our PTO by participating in every sale. We have more magazine subscriptions, more cannisters of popcorn and more wrapping paper then we really need but if it helps the school to purchase a much needed computer for all the children, we’re in! Thanks for a great giveaway!
I always buy another set of school supplies so that someone who doesn’t have one can use it at school. I also give money every nine weeks to help out with their good behavior rewards. I don’t give all that much but if everyone gave just a little that would be alot. Thanks for the chance. brewerchickey78(at)yahoo.com
Well, considering she’s only 6 months old there’s not much we can do right now. We’re taking her to Gymboree, and I put away some money every month towards her college fund.
I’m doing box tops online to support my old middle school. Check out my blog for a $50 walmart giftcard giveaway!
My daughter isn’t old enough for school yet but she loves reading and me reading to her and I cut out the boxtops to give to my nieces and nephews schools.
My little ones are only 1 and 2 right now, so we haven’t gotten too involved with the schools. We do collect Box Tops and Campbell’s soup labels and give them to a friend who is a teacher in the school district, though.
khmorgan_00 [at] yahoo [dot] com
We’re big savers of the box tops at our house. We homeschool, but a homeschool group we belong to collects them just as a public school would. I appreciate that they do that!
Thanks for the giveaway!
We have been doing Box Tops for years. It’s a great program.
We contribute to our kid’s education by joining the PTA and being actively involved. Participating in fundraising. Helping out in the classroom. Donating books, materials and even games (for indoor recess). There are so many ways to help.

Thanks for a great giveaway!
I am pregnant, no other children, but as a former K teacher I believe in the importance of reading! We even plan on reading to our child in the womb–never to early to start!
anthonlm01(at)aol(dot)com
Bottle drives and bake sales! These things never end!
My kiddo isn’t in school quite yet, but I would still love to contribute to the future school! Thanks
We put $50 a month for each child into a 529 plan for them and $50 a month per child into their Coverdell.
It’s a stretch some months!
I contribute to my little boy’s education by doing projects at home and workbooks on reading and writing, counting, etc (he’s only 4). We also read a lot before bed time.
treflea4 at gmail dot com
I try to take an active role in his classroom every year and stay on top of homework! He also has other workbooks that he does at home with me to reinforce what is taught at school
We do the Box Tops thing and my wife helps with the organization of various projects around the school. We do a lot of home learning as well when our kid shows an interest in various things.
I do not have any children, but I do like to cut boxtops and give them to the local school. I also try to attends special events at the local school. Thanks for the giveaway!
My husband and I have a 4 year old daughter with special needs (and a 2 year old son who is “typical”). Our daughter just started her second year of special ed preschool and the thing I’ve tried to do to be as involved as I can is volunteer in her classroom as a “guest reader”. This gives me a chance to interact with the all the wonderful kids my daughter spends her afternoons with each and every day, plus being read to is SUCH an incredible way for children to learn. Our daughter’s teacher has told us on several occasions that she can tell that reading is a priority at our house because that’s the first place my daughter runs to when she gets to school…the bookshelf! 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway!! We’re big “boxtoppers”!! My hubby is a teacher, too, so we’re box top central!!
I dont’ have kids of my own but I donate to boxtops for my niece and nephews school. and I donate time (volunteer) at my old elementary and jr high. it feels good!
thanks so much for the chance!
karissag at gmail.com
I’ve already started clipping box tops and my little one is only 9 months old!!! haha, hopefully they don’t have an expiration date???
I have also signed up for Upromise and am slowly working on getting fam signed up.
Thank you!!!!
Our kids are all under school age, but we make a point of reading to them every day and teaching them letters, numbers, colors in creative ways.
My daughter’s daycare collects boxtops and we save as many as we can. We support her education by reading to her a lot. She loves having books read to her and she’s starting to “read” books on her own, and she’s not even two yet!
I never thought I’d be a “PTA” mom but I signed up now that my kiddos are in Kindergarten. I figure it’s an excellent way to stay involved.
[email protected]
I have signed up with UPROMISE. All qualified purchases put money in an account for my daughters education.
Yes, I do box tops everyday too.
i volunteer to help serve lunch to give the teachers a break…and i come in as a guest reader every other week, as well.
annsavd at gmail dot com
I put money into a savings account and we also save our box tops.

My son is only a year so I suppose I contribute to his education by reading to him daily. When I was a teacher I loved the parents who showed up at school to help out in our room!
momabr at yahoo dot com
I certainly save boxtops, and I recently gave my younger daughter’s classroom a handful of Junie B. Jones books. My daughter picked them out in the store, so it was fun for her, too. ([email protected])
I do nothing, but I set a date of his first birthday to start an account.
hetz-junk(at)hotmail(dot)com
I volunteer to make the daily snacks at my son’s preschool.
katiekarr at gmail dot com
My little girl is only 6 months old, but we contribute to her education by reading to her. We also have a savings account set up for her future.
I have saved box tops and given them to friends of ours who have kids that attend school in the area, though.
daniellewilcox at gmail dot com
I save the Box Tops for my daughters school. I also have a Upromise account and a 529 College Savings Plan.
I volunteer a lot of time for sons’ preschool, some in the classroom and a lot with fundraising. It’s nice to see tangible changes that have been made because of the parents’ efforts.
I want to contribute a joy and desire for lifetime learning.
I use my store loyalty cards that go to mys school ,always attend the fundraisersa dn take an active part in my sons education.
cool!!
I’m on the Parental Advisory Committee at my daughter’s preschool – a trend I plan to continue throughout her life! I also teach 10th graders at my church, because I believe that having a supportive adult in a teen’s life is an essential part of growing up.
My daughter is in first grade and it would be awesome to be able to get her some reading books. She goes through my cupboard and cuts off all the boxtops to take to school!
I could use this gift card to get book to read to my new nephew who will be born in December.
oh I think the box tops program is great.. the schools can use all the help they can get these days!
I would LOVE to get the B&N gift card, Im a huge reader.. I have to read something every day or I feel like Im missing something! Please pick me! I need some new books, but with times so hard who has money to buy books! please consider me!

We like to sell the gourmet food mixes, dips and such during the holiday season!

I volunteer at my son’s school to help out with weekly cooking class. Preschoolers learn so much better when doing hands-on projects. And they are more likely to try foods if they helped make it. Cooking gives them self-confidence, too!
🙂
ndisilvio @ gmail . com
My oldest is in preschool through ECFE. I’m on the parent advisory board and do a lot of work fundraising, etc. I enjoy being involved with my son’s school!
I have a baby, so right now I’m buying and reading books to him constantly!
babygoodbuys at gmail dot com
My daughter will turn two in a couple of weeks, and so her education consists of working on her colors, animal sounds and letters everyday. She’s learned all of the upper case letters, and we’re about a third of the way through the lower case ones!!
The main way we work on letters is reading, reading, reading! This child loves to read / be read to!
We set aside a certain amount from each paycheck into an account for each of our girls.
Raising 5 kids over 30 years, I’ve been in charge of various fund-raising activities that involved collecting, sorting and mailing various POP’s, including Box Tops!
Thanks for the giveaway.
Great program and great giveaway!
I don’t have children, but since I was in elementary school 25+ years ago, I’ve been saving Campbell’s labels, and as my sisters were in school I started saving the Box Tops… and never lost that habit. I donate them to area schools. Hate throwing money away…and that is what it would be to throw out these labels. I once mailed a big envelope of them to my former elementary school…and got a nice note back from my PE teacher who still does all the labels!
Sara Anders
I’m already rather obsessive about saving the box tops for the kids’ school, but I didn’t even know about the online component! I’d be thrilled to give it a whirl!eastendlove [at] msn
My husband is on the school site council and I am President of Parents Club. We both try to help out whenever we can. That is just part of having a children in school. [email protected]
Right now, my daughter is only four months old, but I make sure to read to her every day. We incorporate books into her naptime and bedtime routines, and I have found many excellent board books at B&N in the past. They also have excellent sales tables.
My husband and I put all of our extra change into a piggy bank. Whenever that gets full we take all of the money to the bank and deposit it into a savings account for our girls.
I am a band mom. I was able to give my time. I volunteered to become an officer in the band boosters and work the concession game each home game (and not seeing my child march) for the last two years. Our marching band is self supporting through our fund raising so I am helping many children get a musical education. My son is a senior this year and I think I am going to miss it.
My son is six-months-old, but as a newly retired teacher, I still contribute to the education of my former students by chaperoning on Field Trips, guest lecturing, etc.
jywhitney at gmail com
just recently signed up for boxtops and plan on helping out as much as possible thank you
I home school my son, and our home school organization LOVES Boxtops for Education! I save them diligently and ask my family members to give theirs to me, too. 🙂

I send in box tops as well as soup labels for three of my children. Just last month, I was able to send in enough box tops for two of my children to earn the bonus box tops offer from Target. What a great deal!
Thanks for the contest…uheeter at comcast dot net.
I save Boxtops for our parish school.
No kids in my house, but the neighbor kids go to school and need lots of boxtops.

I am a kindergarten teacher! I challenge my little kiddos in October to “beat me” in how many box tops they can bring in! Last year, I won. This year, they beat me by about 400!! The little contest really motivates them and we raised about 87 dollars for our school in the process!! racheldow07 at gmail dot com.
I do cut the box tops and have been putting money in my daughter’s college fund.
Well, I homeschool so I contribute a lot to their education. Being their teacher and mother is a lot of work and discipline.

My kiddo isn’t in “school” yet, but we definitely like to play school at our house. We read lots (man that girl loves books) and try and learn thru play.
I have always done the box tops, but now that my kids have grown I continue to do them and give them to my daycare kids to bring in to school. I was and still am an active part of my kids education even as they are in college. I am very proud to say that all 3 of my kids were honor students and my oldest even graduated from high school in the top 10 of her class and continues to be on the dean’s list every semester in college.
Education is very important in our family.
I use Upromise to help with my child’s future education and all my loyalty cards that send a portion to the school.

republicanfish4christ(at)gmail(dot)com

I cut every every box top I can find, even at my friends and parent’s houses! Every little bit counts! Every child deserves a good education and this is a simple way any individual can help out.
[email protected]
We do Upromise and Box tops!!
I think the best thing we’ve done for our children’s education is to provide a ton of great quality books for them to read, and we don’t have regular T.V. (only videos!). Even that is too much if you ask me :). Anyways, thanks for the giveaway and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I contribute to my sons schools in a few different ways:
* save the box tops for education & turn them into his school office.
* When shopping for school supplies, I try to shop the Dollar stores and lower price stores to save money, I always buy extra pencils, erasers, glue etc,. then I can send the extra items into the school for my son to give to his teachers.
* From time to time Staples runs a great cash back sale on cases of paper, I bought one for my business 2 weeks ago & bought an extra one for my son to take some to school from time to time and give to his teachers.
* I shop at Albertsons with a loyalty card to help support the school also.
Thanks for the giveaway!!

My daughter isn’t in school yet, but I do save box tops for one of my co-workers. We also have an automatic contribution setup for our daughter’s 529. Living in Las Vegas with the huge budget crunch and the schools not having any money, any way I can support my childs school I will, and this is a great way to do it. I can do my Chrismas shopping and also support my childs school.

I am a full time homemaker and mom. My children are not school age yet but, I do buy box top products and turn in the ones I have clipped to the school that they will be attending. I also go on the box top website and sign up for the contest to win box tops for our school. I plan to volunteer as much as possible at the school also.

I have the opportunity this year to be a room mom for my daughter’s 1st grade class. The fun part is that my mother (her grandmother) is the teacher!
The last school we were at I had cut so many box tops that my total equaled more than the total of the past two years put together.

I collect Box Tops and volunteer in the classroom.
My son is only one, but we’ve opened a college account for him. In addition, we save ALL of our loose change and toss it in a piggy bank. Hopefully in 18 years this loose change will be enough to buy books!
My little one isn’t in school yet, but I always clip the boxtops to give to my cousin who collects them for her kids’ school. Thanks for the giveaway! sras7508 at gmail dot com

My little guy is only two, but I’m very excited about this marketplace program. What a great way to help the schools (who really do need all the help they can get!)
We are crazy about box tops for education! My daughter isn’t even in school yet, but she has become the “master” of collecting box tops for the school I work at! We have convinced numerous families to join in the fun with box tops, and have raised a ton of money for our school! I love the idea they have created!
Although I have no kids of my own I have raised my niece and nephew. I think I have clipped enough boxtops to build a house! The kids are 12 and 14 now and I’m thinking of having one of my own so there are plenty more years for boxtops! Great way to help out for even the busiest families!
Upromise is an incredible tool. It is even linked to our 529 and ALL our family members credit cards!
We have a Upromise account and save change and gift money for his college fund. He isn’t in school yet but it is never too early to start saving for the future.

Most of the grocery stores around here donate money to the school of your choice (through the discount card). I make only shop at the stores that do this.
My daughter is still young yet – but we do have a savings set up for her to be used for college. And I do save boxtops of course! And I plan to be very active at her school.
I always tell my daughter she has 4 parents her mom and dad and her step mom and dad so she better earn a great living so she said she really wants to be a specialist so better start saving for college now!!!
I have been collecting Box Tops for my daughters school for 5 years now. It sure does add up. We also try to remember to put all of our paper in their recycle bins that helps the school as well.
I collect Box Tops all year round and my family eats a lot of cereal to get those Box Tops.
My kids aren’t in school yet but I am signed up with Upromise and we contribute to their 529’s.
Our girls aren’t in school yet, but I’ve been saving/donating Box Tops to our local school. Any difference we can make in our community now is going to make even better for our kids when they do start school!

My daughter is four and every day we play some sort of letter or number game while we’re in the car, in the store, or even lying in bed. She loves to play these word games, like thinking of all the words we can that start with a certain letter, and they’ve helped her start reading!

We read to my 19 month old all the time, thanks!
I don’t have kids yet, but I want to raise kids with the best education, once they are born. So I have been diligently clipping my boxtops, so that someday it will come full circle when my kids are in school. I also use upromise to pay off my loans, and i want to use it to save for my kids college too!
What a great giveaway! I volunteer on the PTO board at my child’s school. And, I constantly toot the horn of BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION and what it can mean for the school. I make up flyers to be sent home to encourage other parents to send them in and even drafted my mother and grandmother to save their BOXTOPS for my little one to take into school! BOXTOPS are great!
We love collecting the boxtops for our school. It is a great way to give back to the school and the kids are able to get involved and help out too.
Well I will have my first child in Jan. but I’ve been saving box tops and giving to my sister for my nephew’s school for years and before that I gave them to a friends child to donate. I would hate to waste those box tops when they can be put to good use.

I also volunteer at my daughter’s school.

I collect Box Tops and volunteer for everything I can!
I put all of the money I save with coupons into their college fund!
I keep our house filled with books–and read to my youngest as often as possible. My oldest daughter finally caught the reading bug from me and reads almost more than I do!
I was a preschool teacher for many years, so my contribution is in their early years. I have set up my house as I would a classroom for young children. I will provide situations where they can explore all the world around them. Teaching them to ask questions and explore.
There are many ways we can contribute to our child’s education (I believe it should start at home), but one thing that I’ve been trying to do since my daughter started 1st grade and has homework is to find other things for her to do that go along with what they are talking about in school. We read together a lot, I ask her lots of questions, and make sure I communicate with her teacher to stay in the know. Monetarliy speaking, we have a GET account, and try to contribute to it when we can, or ask relatives to on birthdays or other occasions where they would be giving a gift.
Since my son is not yet in school, the best way I can contribute to his education is by spending quality time with him, practicing for school – working with the alphabet, his numbers, and other aspects of his education. I do contribute boxtops to the local school, where he will attend kindergarten in a few years!
I blogged on myspace here : http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog&pop=1&ping=1&indicate=1
I always save my box tops for school and now that my oldest in kindergarten I have a school to donate to!

I love this giveaway! We spend a lot of money on books! Boxtops and soup labels are the easiest and most affordable way my family can contribute to the schools. I can’t always buy the fundraiser of the month, but so many of the products we use everyday have a Boxtops logo to cut and send in. It is great! [email protected]
We clip Box Tops and I sign up all my store “loyalty” cards and use Upromise to donate to my child’s school. Thanks!
[email protected]
We collect Boxtops for our school. Our local grocery store also gives money back to the school when you leave your receipt in your school’s box at the store.

Box Tops is a great way to give back to your school. My daughter has a box in her school we save up and she drops them in.
How i contribute to my kids education? When i become a mom, i plan to homeschool so i can be full in charge. My husband always throws boxes away so quick, but i’ll try to keep an eye on them and give them to my friend who is a teacher.
I spend time reading to my kids everyday. We also invest in educational toys and go to the public library. Thanks for the chance to win.
Thats for the giveaway. My daughter isn’t in school yet. She is only 16 months but she can read already so we are on a good start for school. I give my box tops to a friend who then turns them into her kids schools.

I don’t have any children, but I am an elementary school counselor so I love to contribute to education. Our school is a very high need school and we provide “Christmas” for over 85 families each year with the help of our community. I like to contribute to this cause as much as I can. It is such a joy to see the smiles on the parents faces when they know that they will be able to give Christmas to their children. Thanks for doing this giveaway. I love all of the comments!
I taught for many years before becoming a SAHM and I remember how much I appreciated any contribution parents could make. I still have a little one at home with me so I can’t go in to the school to volunteer. But I try to do whatever I can from home. If there are items needed for a craft, class project, party, I am more than happy to donate it. If the teacher needs any lessons or learning games prepped or assembled I volunteer to help. And sometimes, after a string of bad weather days, when I know the “natives are restless” I will send in a little extra treat for the teachers; extra quarters for the vending machine, a chocolate bar, maybe some tea bags or hot cocoa mix she can use during her break or after school lets out …..

My first is still in diapers, but I love spending time reading to her, teaching her the colors, numbers….
I help my son’s education by reading to him every single day. Of course, I’m a teacher so that helps too 😉
I buy books in new or almost-new condition from the local used bookstore, then gift them to the school library. The librarian gives me a list of specific titles to look for, but usually is happy even if I throw in some surprises. What she can’t use they sell at the school’s annual book sale to raise money for the school. It’s nice to be able to support both a small local business and a small local elementary with a single purchase!
I save the box tops for my daughter’s school to I make sure to order her books through the Scholastic book club to help her with her reading education. Thank you for the entry,
I didn’t know that this exsisted! How cool. We always do boxtops, and also order scholastic books (the school gets free books when kids order.)
I read with my kids all the time, too. That really helps them with a lot of skills they need in school.
Thanks for the giveaway! Boxtops are great.
[email protected]
Oh my, beyond reading, reading, reading, there’s helping with homework, being available (and accessible and supportive) to his teachers, encouraging him in his studies, PTA and school activities, and praying for him. We LOVE books and would put this gc to good use!

I love fieldtrips! What better way to stay involved and enjoy a fun day with your child and his/her friends than to accompany on a field trip!
All year long we collect box tops and at the beginning of the school year my sons school has a contest to see which class can bring in the most box tops. Since kindergarten we have come in second, next year I am looking for first.
My husband is a teacher and we cut box tops from everything from diapers to tortillas to well, everything. the grandparents cut them and send them to us as well. Anything to help his school out.

I contribute Boxtops for Education to my granddaughter’s school. When my children were younger, I volunteered in the classroom.

Collecting box tops and soup labels is so easy and a great way to help out the schools. Flash cards and alphabet puzzles are fun and educational. [email protected]
My son is only one, so we donate our box tops to the school my sister-in-law teaches at. I’m glad that we can support the good work that they are doing.
My DD is only 14 months so I am not giving them to her school yet. However, I do save them and give them to people how need them when I trade coupons. They are so imprtant! When I was in school we were able to get a whole playground from them!
Mdefiore727@yahoo
I contribute to my son’s education by educating him at home! We homeschool, but we do save Boxtops for our local school because we know a lot of the kids that go there thanks to our involvement in sports in our community.
We don’t have children yet, but I have worked in the education field. The best way to support their education is to keep their school and teachers in mind with projects and volunteer as much as possible to help.

My little one is not in school yet, but I use upromise and try to find deals that will contribute to that. I’m also trying to shop through their website for my holiday shopping so I can get the addition % in my account. Thanks for the giveaway!
How I contribute to my child’s education… I became a teacher. Not only do I know the ins and outs of what goes on at school, I am able to give him that extra help.
I also hold an afterschool intervention class in my classroom. This is where teachers can send their students who are having trouble in certain areas, and I give them that extra help they need…. and no, I don’t get paid for it! 🙂
thank you for the opportunity! I collect box tops in large amounts, buy from all the school fund raisers and try to sell as well and also like to send the school with extra supplies at the beginning of the school year. Thank you, Jenni

Thanks!
I have a kindergartner and two little ones at home – so I can’t get to the school and volunteer like I would like to, so my son’s teacher sends home math worksheets for me to sort and then I send them back with him.

Hey, thanks!
Thank you! We cut the box tops for my daughters’ future elementary school.
My boys aren’t in school yet but I clip box tops and either give them to a child I know or I drop them in the box at the grocery store. I think it is a great program!
We read, read, read!
[email protected]
My little one isn’t in school just yet, but we contribute to her budding love of reading by taking time each day to enjoy books. We also make regular visits to the library, so that she is exposed to many different types of literature.
My kids aren’t in school yet but I try to support the local schools by participating in their fund raisers, donating items for classroom use, and sending my boxtops with the neighborhood kids.
I clip all the box tops I get and when I go to a friend’s house who doesn’t have children, I ask them for their box tops too!
We also collect the Campbell’s soup label sand Goldfish bag UPCs to earn money for our kids’ school.
Well, I homeschool, so I figure that has to count towards their education! LOL!
I homeschool my two oldest, and the biggest way I contribute to their education is reading! I read to them, they read to me, and they read to each other. We have learned so much!

Our boxtops go to a school in a low income area to help them out.
We are investing & saving as wisely as we can each chunk of gift money given by family. It slowly adds up!
My daughter will be entering kindergarten in 2009 and is now going to Pre-K at our local elementary school. Today’s children are the leaders of tomorrow and every opportunity to help our schools is a good thing. I clip every BOXTOP I can find and have friends and family do the same-anything that improves the school with additional equipment is a plus!
This is a great giveaway! I don’t currently have any kids, but I do cut out the box tops and give them to my young cousin for her school. Also I’ve signed up all my loyalty cards at Upromise to start saving for either my cousin’s education or my yet-to-be children.

I collect Box Tops and I am the Campbell’s soup label coordinator for my kids’ school.
Wow. One way I contribute to my children’s education is that I TEACH them..LOL.
We have homeschooled for over 10 years not and it’s been amazing.
We collect the Box Tops for our local schools though and drop them off when we gather up enough.
Recently my childs literacy library program was cut…so a group of parents (including myself) have been woking at the school library and meeting with the kids needing extra reading help. I am also a big fan of collecting the box tops anything to get our Michigan schools back in budget! My son and I collected the largest amount of tops over the summer and he won a ribbon and some school gear this year!

My oldest started kindergarten this year. It’s been fun going through our pantry an clipping off the Box Tops together. She feels like such a big girl when she turns them in at school.
My son and I walk to and from school every day and we talk about his day. I work at night so I am not there for dinner time or bed time. This is our bonding time. I am involved with as much as I can be at my sons school. Fundraisers, parents club and room mom you name it, I’m there. I want my son to remember that I was involved in his schooling not just dropping off and picking him up.
I’m all signed with upromise!
I’m always trying to participate in whatever fundraisers schools in my area are having….gift wrap, candy sales, etc. It helps to give back!
My 14 month old and I read stories every day. I also save box tops to give to my cousins who are already in school.
I volunteer at both kids’ schools all the time. I love how they have Box Tops containers at all the schools where you can drop them off. So many products I buy anyway have Box Tops on them…it just makes sense to cut them off and save them! Last year, my son’s class won a pizza party because they brought in the most Box Tops! Everybody wins!
i don’t have children yet, but I’m going to be a teacher. boxtops are great for school and i’ve signed up for the school i intern at.

I have never used the Box Tops for education because I don’t have school age kids yet, but now that I know how easy it is, I definitely will contribute more to this program!
I am a SAHM now and a former teacher. We should all try to help our schools. I throw my box tops in a basket on top of the fridge…until my 2nd grader says…I want to take in the Box Tops! Then I send them in…easy!

One way I like to contribute to my childrens’ education is to keep a strong connection with their teachers. Teachers truly are every parent’s partner in both their academic and life education.

Thanks! I have been cutting boxtops ever since I’ve heard of them! I volunteer at school every Thursday (almost) listening to the first and second graders read – it’s such a joy to see the improvement over the year!
I homeschool and our hs support group gets the same benefits as a school so I give them all my box tops.
My boys always yell…”Don’t throw that away! There’s a boxtop!”

My daughter is 8 yrs old now & we've been collecting these boxtops since she started grade school. I think it's a great program & really helps the schools.
We have 2 in school and one that starts next year, we collect box tops as well as attend the schools “Chili’s night, Chic fil A night, Wendy’s night and Mcdonalds night” on these nights the teachers actually work behind the counters at the restaurants and a part of the profit from the night goes to the schools.

My daughter is not in scholl yet but usednto teach so I save all of the boxtops and cambell’s soup labels for that school. Thanks for a great giveaway that helps schools.
My school district has actually had to cut some its fundings – fewer field trips and no “extras” in the classroom. It’s so sad! That’s why we do everything we can to help. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
Can’t wait until my son is in school and I can help him with his homework! Not that I want him to have a ton when he’s in first grade, but when he’s older. I just hope I can keep up!
Also, my husband and I will be involved in whatever school he goes to, hopefully.
We’re also saving money for him for college. It will probably be $100K a year by the time he goes.
Well, I have homeschooled both of my children for years, so I guess you could call that “contributing to their education.” We have done what we can to get them involved in volunteer activities in the community, going on field trips or taking advantage of other educational opportunities, and have supported them in their areas of interest.

I love to use the following website for helping my child with reading http://www.bookadventure.com/ki/index.asp
Justin pick a book on the website and get it from your local library (you can check on line to see which library has it). Then after your child reads it they take a short quiz on the website and earn points for correct answers. Then they can trade the points in for prizes. Make reading really fun for my 5th grader.
I don’t have any children in school currently, but one thing I plan on doing to help my kids is reading to them and with them at home.
My son goes to a school where he attends 2 days a week and I homeschool him the other 3 days. So I am very involved in his schooling! so fun!

For years I collected box tops but my daughters school didnt take them so I donated them to my nieces school. Now that her new school takes them I’ve been donating box tops as well as coke rewards points, and Pure life water labels as well. I’m also apart of the pta and a regular parent volunteer at her school. Any way I can be involved to make sure my daughter is getting the education she deserves is a big plus in my book! I consider my couponing and other frugal decisions the best way I can contribute to my child’s education. The money we’re saving now is going into an education fund that we’ll use for college and perhaps private school when the time comes. (My son is just 2 now, so he’s not yet in school!)

Since my daughter started school seven years ago we have used BOXTOPS to contribute to each school she has attended. It has helped them with getting items that they would not be normally be able to. IT IS A WONDERFUL IDEA AND PROGRAM! It is a good as a gravy train with biscuit wheels!!

I am starting to learn Spanish with my son. Our school district doesn’t teach a second language until high school and I want him to have the chance to learn earlier. Plus, I took German in high school so I thought we’d learn together.
I give my cereal box tops to my younger brother and sister since my son is to small.

I am on the PTA and go to all the fundraisers to help and support. Also, I am head room mom for my daughter’s kindergarden which I go in to help when needed. Thanks
We collect as many boxtops as we can. My daughter’s school throws a monthly party to the class that collects the most.
I have my kids grandparents and other relatives collect BOXTOPS for us as well. Anyone I know that doesn’t have kids of their own, I ask them to send us their BOXTOPS!

We love to clip box tops at our house! My daughter takes pride in turning them, our school does a good job of encouraging and rewarding kids who particpate. We also sign up all our grocery store cards and try to help out however and whenever we can!
We love to buy products that contain the boxtops. We give them to my nephew for his school. This is the first year that I am homeschooling my daughter and she loves for us to play educational games on our computer.
I homeshool, so I contribute to all my childrens education. I teach them, choose their books, help them with homework…and that is just the school aspect of their education. Thanks for the giveaway.
I go to my son’s classroom each Thursday to help out the teacher, it’s so much fun!

I don’t have any kids yet but love to clip those BoxTops and save them!
We have a upromise account that we use to save money for our kids for college. We also give boxtops to the school that our children will attend in the next couple of years.

Thanks for the giveaway!! My baby is just 4m. I was a teacher before becoming a SAHM. I read to him every day. We also sing and do baby signing. I cut out box tops and send them to a local school and have my Target card rewards sent to a school that I taught at.
I love donating anything at my boy’s school. It makes me happy and it makes him proud to have a mommy that helps.

I have a 15 mo old and I am already teaching her to love reading as I do. She sees me read books all the time and mimics me. charlenegale at yahoo dot com
We work with my two year old with puzzles, lots of educational toys and lots and lots of reading. He is only 26 months but he knows all his letters and numbers (to 10) just by looking at them. We really try to encourage his own fascination with learning something new! Thanks! We would LOVE some new books.
We keep all our BTFE, Campbells Labels for Education, Tyson A+ labels and Kemps Nickels for Schools. We also have a Upromise account. We do all we can to help! we could really use some new books.
Upromise helps me save money that I was spending anyway. you gotta love that.
I don’t yet have a child, but I collect my Box Tops for my friends son’s school (It’s also where my little sister went to school.)
Thanks for the giveaway!
Target has a rewards program that donates 1% of your select purchases to your child’s school! A lot of schools are signed up for this so check it out next time you are at Target! My son’s school does this program! 🙂
I make sure he’s got a lot of educational resources to use for schoolwork.
Awesome giveaway! I will start saving boxtops now
I have been the box top clipper for forever. My kiddo is in rd grade and he always wins the box top contest @ school. My thought is: “It is for the kids….if the opportunity is there, you best step up to the plate!”

I don’t have any children of my own yet, but I always give my boxtops to my neighbor. She has two children in elementary school, why toss them away when they can be so helpful. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I would love this. I would surely use it wisely.
My son is 15 months old so I try to take him to stimulating places & point out all kinds of new things to him.
I buy everything i can with boxtops. My daughter tears the labels off of all our food as soon as I come home from the grocery store. What people must think of my pantry shelves!
I also read with her class once a week. I love getting to know her friends and hopefully helping the teacher find extra bits of time for her day.
I am a fanatic box top collector. I also participate in Upromise and try to budget to save for my child’s education. As far as contributing, I read to my children everyday and have since I was pregnant. I have three boys whom all love books. I was a troubled reader as a child and have found the love of reading to be the key to unlock almost all learning problems.
