One of the things that scares me the most with the digital age is losing some of my most cherished posessions. Did you know that industry research estimates that a computer system crashes every 15 seconds and one out of five computers loses data as a result of a virus or crash? With computers comes a lot of issues of the computer crashing and losing pictures and documents. I try to put my pictures on internet storage, but as far as all of my schoolwork and important documents we have stored, they are basically a sitting duck.
The Replica is a backup device that backs up every aspect of the computer. It is easy as can be to do. Simply plug it into your computer via a USB port. The pictures make the device look big, but it’s actually a small device that you would never know is there. Once it’s plugged in, it automatically backs your files up and if you unplug it before it is finished, it simply picks up where it left off. Convenient, huh?
One of the downsides though is that The Replica is only available for Windows PC and not MAC, so keep that in mind if you are looking into buying.
The Replica retails for $129 for a single computer or $199 for a multi-PC version, but it is worth the piece of mind!
