    why would people give away that info to be stored in a database and sold? i get it if someone wins, but as a prerequesite?

      The information is NOT sold. It is used only as a means to fulfill the prize. I run too many giveaways to try to contact winner after winner who don’t reply with their mailing address. If you don’t feel comfortable leaving your info on a secure form, I understand but only winners who have completed this information will be given the prize.
