I got my fill of pumpkin pie over Thanksgiving and when my in-laws invited us over for post-Thanksgiving turkey soup dinner I couldn’t pass up another opportunity for a delicious dessert. I brought over Schwan’s new Red Velvet Cheese Cake to share. I had never heard of this combination before but I’m such a huge fan of cheesecake and the Schwan’s brand I knew it would be good. I was right of course. It was a hit!
The bottom layer is classic red velvet cake then layered with white chocolate cheesecake and topped with real cream cheese frosting. To make it look pretty its hand garnished with chocolate shavings. Serving is super easy because because the cake is pre-sliced and separated with little papers. It’s the perfect dessert for any holiday gathering!
If you need an appetizer first, consider Schwan’s Spinach & Mushroom Flatbread Thin Crust Pizza featuring spinach, sliced mushrooms, garlic, onion, REAL Mozzarella, Fontina and Cheddar cheeses with a white sauce on a crispy, flatbread crust. While I’m not a fan of those toppings myself, I’ve tried other versions and absolutely love the crust. My husband liked this variety. Cut it into small sized pieces and it makes a great appetizer!
