I’m pretty sure everyone has a spot in their bedroom where clothing gets piled. I’m not talking about dirty laundry. Maybe you put on a shirt in the morning but change your mind about wearing it. You take it off and throw it over the back of a chair. Or on your stationary bike. Or wherever is convenient at the time. Things tend to gather there and you just keep ignoring it because who wants to spend time hanging things up and putting them away. Ugh. Well guess what? It takes a lot less effort (and time!) than you probably think and your room will look so much better!
My problem area is actually in my bathroom:
Jeans, sweaters, a jacket, even a dress is piled on this little half wall in our bathroom. Every time I see it I think, “I should put that stuff away”. But I don’t. And then even more stuff gathers there. Well today I set my time and tackled the job. And guess what? It only took 5 of the 10 minutes!
Bam! Just like that! Now I just have to stop myself from putting anything there because once I do, it accumulates! Do you have a problem area like this in your home?
I’d love to hear ways you manage your time at home with kids. Please share your tips with me and our other readers by leaving a comment, then come back next week for another 10 minute challenge!
