Is there such a thing as making life easier? I try my hardest to make life easier, but I feel like I am constantly chasing myself. Twittermoms and Oral-B have teamed up asking us to share ways in which we try to make life easier. So, here are a few ways in which I try:
1. Lay my kid’s clothes out the night before. We are always running around like chickens with our heads cut off in the morning before school, so I always lay their clothes out the night before so I can just simply throw them on the kids and head out of the door.
2. Clean up dinner right after we’re done eating. When things are clean in my house, it makes me happy. I hate having a messy house, so if I clean dinner right away, everything goes so much more smoothly.
3. Do laundry right away and do it all at once. Don’t let your clothes sit in the washer/dryer. Complete the loads, fold them, iron them, whatever you do and put them away all at once.
4. Keep a budget and stick to it. Why worry so much about money all of the time? The budget will keep you on target.
5. Pamper yourself. If you are relaxed and feel good about yourself, you are not going to have as much stress. This makes life easier for yourself and the others are you.
6. Communicate with everyone around you. As long as there is communication, you are going to bottle up all of your emotions, create unnecessary drama and stress.
7. Make lists and stick to them. Organize your thoughts and put them down on paper. This will help in so many ways. Refer to your list when your mind wanders.
8. Stay in touch with your friends. Make sure to visit with them regularly. Keep in touch by phone. Have girl’s nights. This will also help your stress.
9. Make enough food for dinner and for lunch to eat as leftovers the next day. You won’t have to spend money eating out and you already have your lunch made for the next day!
10. Make sure you are kind. A little kindness goes a long way. Be kind to everyone and you will in turn be blessed.
So, what are some ways in which you make life easier? Please share with us as we’d love to hear!
