Going to the movies is a rarity for our family and not just because we are so short on spare time — it’s so expensive these days, especially for a family of 5. We can get a movie from Redbox and all the junk food we want and save a ton of money. We have a projector at home so we don’t feel we are missing out too awfully much. Going to a movie is fun though and you can’t beat actual movie popcorn. We do treat ourselves from time to time.
