I am a sap for a good Christmas book. The Three Christmases of William Spencer, by Derek Blount, portrays William Spencer’s three periods of life (child, adult and senior) as he celebrates his birthday on Christmas Day.
Three Christmases offers the message that happiness is not a condition, but an attitude. I love that the story, in essence, resembles the circle of life as William Spencer starts as a child and ends as a senior. His wife and son had passed away, but it ends with a new great-grandson.
Originally written for author Derek Blount’s grandmother, Three Christmases touches on spending time with family during the holidays and celebrates the joy of the season.
The Three Christmases of William Spencer is just a little over $10 on Amazon right now, so this would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for somebody!
