It’s not easy to get out to eat at Red Lobster but it IS easy to make their irresistible Cheddar Bay Biscuits at home,
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
4 T. cold butter
1 Heaping cup of grated Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup milk (recipe calls for whole milk but I use 2% and it comes out fine)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Directions:
Mix together Bisquick and butter with a fork or pastry cutter leaving small chunks of butter (about the size of peas). Add the rest of the ingredients and mix by hand until combined. Do not over mix!
Using an ice cream scoop, drop portions of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15-17 minutes
While the biscuits are baking to a nice golden brown, melt T butter in the microwave. Add 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/4 tsp dried parsley flakes. When the biscuits come out of the oven, brush tops with it — use it all!
