Whenever we get together with my in-laws which is usually at least a couple times per month, dip is involved. Whether we’re having a family dinner or hanging out at the island house, chips and dip is a common snack/appetizer. One of our favorites is a homemade dip but most often, being a busy family, we buy dip from the grocery store. A few weeks ago we headed to Guemes Island for the day and I brought Heluva Good’s new limited edition Roasted Garlic and Caramelized Onion Dip and a bag of potato chips. It was an instant hit!
When I was a kid I never would have touched anything with “onion” in the name. Boy, did I miss out for a long time! I still don’t care for onions but at least now I know better — they can provide a lot of flavor to many foods and in this dip combined with the roasted garlic flavor, it’s a match made in heaven. The rich sweet flavors of the roasted garlic and caramelized onion blend perfectly with the taste of sour cream to create a flavorful dip that’s perfect for chips, pretzels, veggies, pita chips, crackers and more. It comes in a 12 oz container that’s perfect for sharing however, I suggest purchasing two at a time otherwise you’ll be sorry when you run out!
Once you start eating it, it’s hard to stop! My mother-in-law wanted to know where to get more so we went online to find out.
