Forget bikes and scooters. The EzyRoller is the new way to roll. It doesn’t use pedals but instead is powered by a back and forth pushing motion with your feet on the footbar. Instead of a steering wheel, you use your body to guide the EzyRoller by leaning to one side or the other. The first and original EzyRoller extends to fit kids from 4 to 14 and even small adults.
The EzyRoller comes in a box that is about 2′ x 2′ x 4″. I was worried that it would be difficult to put together but was super surprised and pleased to find that it literally took just ONE bolt! There were two other pieces that basically snap into place. The foot bar has to be bolted on with the included allen wrench (yay for not having to locate my own tools!). It comes with two extender pieces and one additional bolt to extend the pieces. There are three different positions depending on the users height.
The EzyRoller is designed for use on fairly flat surfaces. Our driveway and street is pretty sloped so we don’t have a good place to ride without taking it somewhere. I gave the EzyRoller a whirl around the house on our hardwood floors and thought it was so much fun! I just wish the extender was adjustable without having to bolt/unbolt it because I have three kids of varying heights (plus I like riding it too!). I guess that means I’ll have to pick up a couple more! They come in a variety of fun colors and retail for $99 each.
