There are lots of paid survey sites and product testing panels- you won’t get rich from any of them but I’ve personally participated in a few and have been pleasantly happy with the results. Our date nights are often courtesy of gift cards or cash I have earned by spending a few minutes online here and there. Here is the latest site I have heard about. It’s called the Synovate Rewards Program. and you can earn points to redeem for cash by taking surveys. While I do not have any personal experience with this particular company, there are a few that I can vouch for. We do have experience with a few of these (in bold).
Toluna-earn cash, rewards and more. They also advertise the opportunity to test and keep products.

I put a FT career on hold to stay home w/our little guy until he starts K. He’s about to turn three now, but like you said, when money’s tight, it’s never to early to start saving for the holidays. Glad I’m not the only one out there starting so early. 🙂 Thanks for the list.
