I have to admit, I used to be a peanut butter snob. I only bought Jif. But when I started trying to cut back on grocery expenses I branched out and broke that habit. Since organic tends to be a bit pricier and just doesn’t sounds as appealing (though I KNOW it’s much healthier) I had never tried it until Santa Cruz Organics sent me some of their products for our review. While a bit more bland tasting than other peanut butters, I was pleasantly surprised by their Organic Peanut Butter. In fact, we couldn’t taste the difference at all in our morning peanut butter banana smoothies! Upon opening there is a layer of oil on the top that needs to be mixed in. Then you store the peanut butter in the fridge which keeps it from separating again. Santa Cruz Organics peanut butter is available in both dark and light roast, creamy and crunchy. They contain no hydrogenated oils, no added sugars and no artificial ingredients- just good, wholesome, natural ingredients.
We also received some Organic Fruit Spreads and Organic Fruit Sauces both of which were amazingly good! 4 new flavors were just launched in the fruit spreads: Strawberry, Apricot, Seedless Red Raspberry and Blackberry Pomegranate. Fruit is the first ingredient in each jar. Our favorite was the Seedless Raspberry. I don’t think I’ve tasted better- seriously. Y-U-M. I could eat it straight out of the jar!
The Organic Fruit Sauces also have new flavors: Apple Peach and Apple Tropical- both were really tasty and my kids and I enjoyed having them along with lunch or as a snack. It was nice to have a little switch from plain applesauce (which we love). These were really good! Each 4-ounce cups contains 100 percent of your daily vitamin C and no added sugar!

I always buy their juices at Whole Foods, the Mango, Strawberry and Regular Lemonade but haven’t tried any of their other brands…good prices too.
