Before I had children, I loved to scrapbook my photos. Now, I have to remind myself to TAKE the photos and then they just sit on my camera or computer waiting for me to do something creative with them. I also have professional photos taken of my kids yet it takes months (or longer) for me to get my act together and have them framed and hung. I tell myself that maybe once the kids are in school, I’ll get around to getting the photos organized and actually DO something with them. Until then, there is a new company called Fracture that makes it extremely easy to get your favorite photos ready for display quickly, easily and inexpensively.
Fracture prints your digital picture right onto glass. They’ve combined printing, framing and mounting into one simple process. Just upload your photo at FractureMe.com, choose a size, shape and border (or go borderless) and they will send it to you with everything you need to mount and display your picture. While Fractures are printed onto glass, they are shatter proof and completely safe to touch and handle. All sharp edges are removed.
Sizes and prices:
- 5×7- $8
- 6×8- $10
- 8×10- $12
- 8 1/2 x 11- $18
- 11×14- $25
You can choose from portrait, landscape or square. There are lots of fun borders to choose from or if you choose not to have a border, your image will print right to the edge of the glass. There are few simple editing tools you can use to crop, resize, change to grayscale etc. The whole process is quick and easy. Once you’ve designed and added your fracture to your cart you will be able to select whether you’d like a wall mount or a stand. Personally, I wish there was an option to include both. I often order products like these as gifts and I’d like the recipient to have an option of how they’d like to display their photo. Other than that, I was really impressed with the whole FractureMe experience. I think their prices are outstanding and the final product I received was a quality one.
If you are looking for inexpensive holiday gifts, I’d definitely recommend Fracture. Or, if you’re like me and you need help getting your photos displayed, give Fracture a try!
I received a free Fracture frame for review. The thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
