I received a Bright Starts InGenuity Portable Swing for my reivew. I was pretty excited since I had sold our old baby swing at our garage sale and it was a little outdated anyway. I love this little swing and so does Parker who is just two weeks old. First of all, the swing was easy to put together- my husband did it all by himself (with a little help from my 3 year old son)! My favorite thing about this swing is that it’s legs and seat fold up and it’s easy to move from room to room. This is essential to me because my other kids can’t seem to leave the baby or the swing alone so Parker only gets to enjoy it at dinner time, at night after my other two are in bed or during their nap time.
The seat of the swing is super soft and the colors are neutral which was another plus since we didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl until she arrived. There is a dial on the side for 6 swing speeds which were developed with TrueSpeed technology that maintains the correct swing speed, even as your baby grows. Two buttons on the front control the music which features 6 different melodies with volume control and auto shut off and the swing timer which has 3 settings 15, 30 and 45 minutes. The music is soft and pleasant unlike our old swing which had really annoying music. The swing also has two different reclining positions and two plush toys that hang above baby from a removable toy bar. Parker already likes checking these little creatures out!
If you are looking for all of the features in a full size swing with the convenience of portability and storage, the Bright Starts InGenuity Portable Swing is a great choice!
