Having children is a life-changing experience. It is one of those things that you can never understand how your parent’s felt until you live through it. Since we have had our last baby and he is growing up so fast, I am constantly telling him to stop growing. I find myself saying, “If I could keep you little forever, I would.”
There is a great book actually called “If I Could Keep You Little.” With my husband being gone, it is such a great book for us at this time. I hate that he is going to miss out on our last one growing, so I definitely would keep him little. This children’s book has such a great message. It made me tear up reading it to my children.
Children grow so fast and it is hard to remember to cherish every second with how busy life gets. Reading this book helps put this into perspective. The artwork is very beautiful and peaceful. It is a great book to read at bedtime. Here is a great excerpt:

I’d decide on matching clothes.
But then I’d miss you choosing
