Disney Interactive Children’s Books $70 Value Review & Giveaway- 2 Winners

This holiday season, Reader’ s Digest, an official Disney publishing licensee, is offering an exciting new line of interactive children’s books based on the Disney film Tangled and Disney Pixar Toy Story 3, the blockbuster No. 1 hit film of the summer. Each book comes equipped with moving pieces and/or digital parts.

I, admittedly, have never been so excited to receive books in my life.  I was so excited when I realized that one of the princess books and one of the Toy Story 3 books were recordable.  With my husband being away, we shipped them overseas for him to record his voice reading the book and then he shipped them back.  The kids thought it was the neatest thing that “Daddy was inside the book.”  They kept trying to talk to him and tell him hi.  He’s so animated as well, so it definitely helped.

Disney Princess Dreams Record-A-Book is a unique recordable storybook, a parent can be there for that special “read-to-me” time–from anywhere! Princess Dreams features the classic Disney Princess stories of Tiana, Cinderella, and Belle.

Disney Tangled: Rapunzel’s Dream Storybook with Musical Hairbrush, available is a storybook that includes a musical hairbrush that your child can use just as Rapunzel would in the actual movie. One wave brings this magical brush to life as it “sings” a lovely melody while combing magically through your child’s hair.

Disney Tangled: Rapunzel’s Magical Hair Storybook with Light Up Removable Hair, is a great new storybook that features a removable light-up hair clip. Throughout the book children are encouraged to use this clip as Rapunzel would in certain scenes taken straight from the movie.

Disney Tangled: Rapunzel Adventure Storybook with Music Player, is a storybook with a portable music player containing I See the Light, a song from the movie, as well as 19 additional tunes inspired by the film. This player can be used page-by-page along with the storybook or as a stand alone toy bringing to your child musical tunes for hours of play.

Toy Story 3 Record-A-Book, is also available along with Disney Princess Dreams Record-a-Book. These new record-a-books are a great way for friends and family to be involved with a child’s fun and learning. I am in love with all of these books.  I think it’s great that the books are not just “standard” and include a play box, brush or recording option.  This creates so much fun and excitement for my kids that it really does make reading fun!
