Rite Aid is probably one of the simplest of the drugstores as far as how their system works. They use a program called Single Check Rebate (SCR). Each month they have a booklet that contains the SCR items for the month or you can view them online HERE. Some SCRs are only good on purchases made during a particular week during the month, so pay attention to the dates! You will also find SCRs in the weekly ads but they are the same ones that are in the monthly booklet.
All you have to do is purchase any of the SCR items during the valid dates. Use coupons if you have them! There are usually several free-after-rebate items each month that could result in overage when paired with a coupon. Hold on to your receipts because you will need to submit them online. I find it easiest to submit them as soon as I get home before I have a chance to lose them.
First time users will need to create an account. Once you have an account, all you will need to do is log in and enter your receipts. You will enter store, register and transaction numbers (all which are found at the top of your receipt) and the date. That’s it. They system will recognize which items from your receipt are SCRs. At the end of the month after all of your receipts have been entered just log in and request your check. The total amount from all of your SCRs for the month will be mailed to you in one check.
The cool thing about these checks is that you can actually use them as cash at Rite Aid- no need to take them to the bank!
