My kids, like many of yours I assume, are snack addicts. As soon as breakfast is over my 3 year old son starts asking “when is snack?” and “what’s for snack?” about every three minutes until I finally give in and get him something. I’m always looking for something new and healthy for them to snack on. Yogurt is one of their favorites. Sometimes we top it with granola or fresh berries. Sometimes I put a few rainbow sprinkles on top so they really think they are getting a treat. Yoplait has a new kid’s yogurt that has 25% less sugar that other leading children’s brands. It’s also free from high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners and artificial colors. Yogurt is a great source of calcium and vitamin D and kids love it. As a mom, what’s not to like? Something healthy that they love? Wish there were more products I could say that about!
In addition to sharing the news of their new, less-sugar yogurt, Yoplait asked us to share a wholesome snack with our readers. I could be anything- it didn’t have to include yogurt but since my kids love it so much I decided to make duel flavor frozen yogurt pops. I had some ice pop molds in my cupboard- I have no idea where I got them but I don’t know why I haven’t used them before. They work really well but they only make three at a time which is a bummer. Here’s a little video of how they work.
