I’m always on the lookout for things to keep my kids occupied, especially while I am trying to get dinner on the table. Coloring is an old standby but Doodle Roll puts a fresh spin on it. Invented by a Boston area mom and dad of three, Doodle roll is a conveniently packaged roll of paper and crayons. Highly portable, the Doodle roll is available in two sizes– 4″ wide & 15 feet long with 4 crayons or 6″ wide & 30 feet long with 8 crayons. The wound up roll of paper is easily dispensed with it’s E-Z tear edge. While we just used this at home, Doodle Roll would be easy to toss in the diaper bag to be played with whenever and wherever space is available. And since you choose the length of paper, doodling can take place almost anywhere! My kids loved doodling all along a long length of paper and it kept them busy for awhile. I do recommend tearing off a length of paper if your kids are little like mine. They had just as much fun unraveling the whole roll while I wasn’t looking.
The Doodle Roll 4” All-in-One Craft Kit sells for $3.99 while the 6″ one retails for $4.99. For more information on Doodle Roll and the company, log on their website, www.doodleroll.com.
