Sometimes I think I live under a rock. I had honestly never heard of Squinkies until reviewing the Nintendo DS game. My 4 year old daughter is really into being a princess during the day and self-proclaimed angel at night. So, she was super excited to play a princess in the Squinkies game. She also likes to pretend her brother is the prince and needs to rescue her. In Squinkies
, the princess needs to rescue the hidden Squinkie friends.
I like that the mini-games are fairly easy so that my daughter could understand how to play. These mini-games include memory matching, picture puzzles, coloring, match three colored bubble popping, and a few other touch screen activities. So, even though it is called a game, it is also a learning too by teaching the children a few learning lessons.
Squinkies is now packaged with four ultra-rare Squinkies
. Fans will be able to add to their growing collection of adorable, tiny-sized toys with the exclusive Squinkies
pack-in. Not available in the regular toy packs, these special Squinkies will be released only through the video game.
Squinkies, priced right around $30, is rated E for Everyone and this definitely holds true since my husband and I would challenge each other.
