I have to say that I am so proud of my hubby. We are working on finishing our basement in our house. We needed a new air compressor since the one we borrowed stopped working.
Anyways, he headed to Meijer as he saw them for around $70 previously. He priced them incorrectly the first time, but this time they were priced at $100 and he thought it was on sale for $45 per a sign next to it. He took it to the cashier and it still rang for $100. They had the wrong sign on it. He said that the sign stated $45. Long story short, they had to give him the compressor for $45 legally since it was labeled incorrectly or otherwise it’s considered false advertising.
His first words when he came through the door were, “You’d be proud of me.” I am proud of him! The four years of advertising and 6 years we’ve been married have paid off in a great way! I told him, “I taught you so well, Grasshopper.” It’s the little things. So, brag on your spouse is which way they have learned to be frugal by leaving us a comment. I love to read all of those and it’s always nice to brag on our significant others.

I’m proud of my husband because today he replaced a broken dimmer light switch all by himself instead of paying a repair man like usual and it actually works correctly–that’s an added bonus around our house! lol
