Review: ProWash

The makers of Dry Cleaner’s Secret have come back with another innovative laundry product, ProWash. ProWash is intended for performance activewear, like Nike DriFit and Under Armour items, as well as your everyday laundry. ProWash Activewear Detergent thoroughly cleans without sacrificing the performance of the garment. The exclusive formula gives you the confidence to clean and remove sweat and odors from your activewear. Independent labrotory tests show that ProWash works better than ordinary detergent on your activewear garments.

Since I have the stinkiest husband on the block, Holly asked me to try ProWash. As a hockey coach and player, my dear husband wears a lot of wicking layers under his gear and if you’ve ever smelled a hockey player after a game, all those layers smell TERRIBLE. The fabrics his jerseys and Under Armour are made of can wear easily with as much washing as his gear takes, so a specially formulated detergent could save us a lot of money in replacements. We have used ProWash on a couple of loads of hockey gear, which will include jerseys, Under Armour, towels, and two different kinds of socks – all of which smell worse than almost anythiing you’ve ever smelled. The load came out good, everything looked clean and didn’t smell too bad – although the smell of hockey might be a little too much for even ProWash. It is intended to remove the odor instead cover it up – I think hockey gear needs a little covering.
