Father’s Day Week: Schwan’s #Review & #Giveaway

We’ve all seen it in our neighborhood and have said, “Hey, it’s the Schwan Man!”  Yes, it’s that nice yellow truck that drives around dropping off wonderful food packages to individuals.  I’ve never had the luxury of this great truck stopping off at my house, but maybe one day!  I have had the luxury of trying products from Schwan’s though and I am so impressed that it’s hard to even describe how great their products are.  Make complete meals starting with appetizers and ending with desserts with everything in between!

We are big into grilling in our household.  Schwan’s has all-new grilling items.  We got to try Schwan’s New Steakhouse Seasoned Flat Iron Steak (USDA Choice grade).  The steak was so easy to fix and super yummy!  Schwan’s has many other grilling items like Black Angus Steak Burgers and LiveSmart Turkey Sausage Patties.

We chose to try the Cheesy Quik Taters Potato Rounds.  This was right up my Kentucky alley just because of the name.  It takes only 12 minutes to pop these in the oven and pair them with our steaks.  They are stuffed with cheese, which is my favorite!  Maybe you’d like some Au Gratin Potatoes or Roasted Sweet Potatoes, which is from their Live Smart line.

Top your wonderful dinner off with “Monkeying Around” Banana ice cream or the Loaded Waffle Cone Peanut Butter Swirl ice cream. I am not much of a dessert eater, but I have become addicted to the waffle cone peanut butter swirl!  My kids ask for it every night after dinner also.

Whatever your taste may be, Schwan’s has it!  I am amazed by all of the wonderful food they have and it’s all perfect for any meal!  Be prepared for Father’s Day or anytime you have guests that may stop by unannounced.
